See what you can do with Prophix

Prophix helps finance teams work with greater flexibility and confidence through Prophix One™, our Financial Performance Platform. We bring planning, reporting, and automation together so people can focus on higher-value work instead of repetitive tasks. As we introduce more AI-enabled capabilities, you will be part of a human-centered innovation journey where intelligent tools support better outcomes while people lead the decisions that matter.

We're headquartered in the Greater Toronto Area, with teams and offices across North America, Europe, and Australia.

As Product Manager (Consolidation), you will drive the strategy and execution of our financial consolidation capabilities, ensuring Prophix helps CFOs and finance teams succeed in complex consolidation and reporting environments. Reporting to the Vice President, Product Management, you will serve as both a domain expert and product leader, guiding product managers, designers, and engineers within the Product Operating Model. You will be accountable for ensuring that our empowered product teams continuously solve meaningful problems for finance leaders, delivering measurable outcomes in usability, accuracy, and speed of financial processes.

What You Will Do

Product Strategy & Outcomes

  • Define and evolve the strategy for the Consolidation portfolio of the Prophix One Financial Performance Platform, grounded in customer needs across North American and EMEA markets and their distinct regulatory environments.
  • Translate customer jobs-to-be-done into product outcomes, ensuring features deliver measurable value across key consolidation workflows including intercompany eliminations, currency translation, ownership hierarchy management, and statutory vs. management reporting.
  • Manage the product line profit & loss statement, including input into pricing strategy for consolidation capabilities.
  • Partner with Product Design and Engineering to shape discovery, prioritize opportunities, and deliver solutions — including the ability to evaluate technical trade-offs in consolidation engine design, data modeling, and rules-based calculation logic.

Customer & Market Leadership

  • Serve as the internal subject-matter expert for consolidation and close processes within Prophix One, with the ability to speak credibly to both US GAAP and IFRS frameworks and their implications for product design.
  • Engage with finance and accounting leaders across North America and EMEA to understand their workflows, pain points, and aspirations — including how consolidation requirements, statutory reporting obligations, and local GAAP variations differ by market.
  • Stay ahead of regulatory, market, and technology trends — including the evolution toward continuous close, AI-assisted consolidation, and emerging reporting standards — and embed them into the roadmap.
  • Support sales cycles, RFPs, and prospect conversations as a consolidation domain expert when needed.
  • Participate in customer advisory boards, beta programs, and discovery interviews to continuously validate product direction.

Team Leadership

  • Mentor and coach associate product managers, ensuring empowered teams are customer-obsessed, outcome-driven, and develop a working understanding of consolidation domain concepts relevant to their work.
  • Provide clarity on priorities, outcomes, and trade-offs across multiple scrum teams, particularly when balancing geo-specific requirements between North American and EMEA customers.
  • Collaborate across sales, marketing, customer success, and professional services to ensure alignment from roadmap through to adoption — including incorporating learnings from implementation experiences to improve product configurability and reduce time-to-value.

Execution & Measurement

  • Establish and track key success metrics for consolidation capabilities, including usability, accuracy, processing speed, and customer adoption across geographies.
  • Ensure empowered teams maintain a balance of discovery and delivery, making iterative improvements based on user feedback, analytics, and real-world consolidation workflow data.
  • Work alongside implementation and professional services teams to understand where consolidation configurations succeed or fail, feeding those insights back into product improvements.
  • Actively collaborate with key internal and external stakeholders — including pre-sales, sales partners, customer success, and implementation teams — to ensure Prophix's consolidation capabilities are positioned as the best solution in the market. This includes gathering frontline intelligence on competitive gaps, customer objections, and unmet needs, and translating those insights into product improvements that strengthen our ability to win, retain, and grow customers across North America and EMEA.
  • Partner with pre-sales and sales teams on strategic deals and RFPs where consolidation expertise is critical, ensuring our product story is accurate, compelling, and reflective of real customer needs in both North American and EMEA markets.
