Summary
As a Product Manager for Cloud Platform Provisioning & Persistence, you will own and evolve the platform capabilities that enable Guidewire product teams and applications to provision, configure, operate, and lifecycle-manage cloud infrastructure through standardized, self-service APIs and declarative platform abstractions.Your initial focus will be on persistence services, including Aurora PostgreSQL, RDS, DynamoDB, and caching capabilities, together with the OAM/KubeVela-based components, infrastructure modules, operators, and automation that expose these services as reusable Guidewire Cloud Platform capabilities. This includes shared and dedicated provisioning patterns, disaster recovery and failover, upgrades, migrations, and support for various Guidewire applications’ workloads.
This role is part of the Guidewire Cloud Platform Product Management organization and works in close partnership with Engineering teams and Outbound Product Management, ensuring that platform capabilities provide a consistent developer experience while meeting product, reliability, security, and operational requirements.
Guidewire’s culture is defined by integrity, collegiality, and rationality where each team member is valued for who they are and what they bring. Our mission every single day is to learn, share, and collaborate while delivering the best product experience for our customers.
The role requires working from the office 10 days per month (every Tuesday and Wednesday, and Monday-Thursday on the 4th week of each month).
