Unstoppable starts with people. The future of payments is being built today, and at Paymentology, we are looking for people who want to help shape it. We power card issuing for leading banks, fintechs and digital brands across the globe, and as we continue to grow, we are looking for curious, ambitious people who thrive on solving complex challenges, embrace innovation and want to make a tangible impact at global scale.
At Paymentology, we are building the product capabilities that help us scale how clients are launched, configured, and evolved across our business.
We are looking for a Product Manager to lead one of the most important internal product challenges in our platform: making client setup and change faster, clearer, and easier to scale.
Today, too much of this work depends on fragmented processes, manual coordination, and knowledge spread across teams. We want to change that by turning an operational pain point into a strong product capability with a clear roadmap, strong stakeholder alignment, and tangible business impact.
In this role, you will take ownership of Client Config Hub (CCH), a strategic internal product that brings greater structure, visibility, and consistency to onboarding, configuration, and client change across Paymentology. You will work at the intersection of product, engineering, implementation, and operations, helping teams align around better workflows, clearer priorities, and stronger outcomes for the people doing this work every day.
This is a strong fit for a product manager who thrives in complex environments, is comfortable working through ambiguity, and knows how to turn messy cross-functional problems into product direction, momentum, and results. It is also a strong fit for someone who already uses AI deeply in their product work and wants to operate in a forward-leaning environment where modern AI tools are expected to improve thinking, speed, and execution quality.
WHAT YOU GET TO DO:
Product Ownership & Strategy
Own the product direction for Client Config Hub, evolving it into a clear, durable capability that solves real operational and business problems.
Define and refine the roadmap, priorities, and sequencing for CCH based on outcomes, evidence, constraints, and stakeholder insight.
Identify the highest-value problems to solve in onboarding, setup, and client change, and turn them into product strategy, decisions, and delivery focus.
Help shape a product vision that improves today’s internal workflows while creating stronger foundations for future scale, reuse, and self-service.
Focus teams on outcomes over output, ensuring that delivery stays connected to meaningful user, operational, and business impact.
Stakeholder Management & Alignment
Gather information, feedback, and constraints from colleagues across product, implementation, operations, engineering, platform, and other business functions.
Communicate strategy, priorities, trade-offs, and progress clearly and credibly to relevant stakeholders.
Build alignment and secure buy-in across dependent teams, especially where success relies on work outside your direct control.
Partner closely with other Product Managers to ensure dependent capabilities and cross-team delivery stay aligned with CCH priorities.
Execution & Delivery
Work closely with engineering to ensure product decisions are well framed, priorities stay coherent, and delivery remains tied to meaningful outcomes.
Define and clarify requirements, workflows, user stories, and success criteria that help teams move with confidence.
Surface risks, dependencies, and decision gaps early, and drive them toward resolution.
Keep the product coherent across multiple teams rather than allowing it to fragment into disconnected initiatives.
Discovery, Learning & Product ExcellenceWork continuously to understand the root causes behind friction, delay, and inconsistency in client setup and change.
Use data, stakeholder insight, product thinking, and fast learning loops to improve both product direction and execution quality.
Bring an empowered product mindset to the role, combining discovery, judgment, and collaboration to help teams solve the right problems well.
Bring strong product craft to discovery, prioritisation, communication, and decision-making.
Use AI tools in a meaningful way to accelerate research, synthesis, communication, requirement quality, and day-to-day product execution.
REQUIREMENTS
What it takes to succeed:Strong experience in product management, ideally in platform, workflow, operational, or other complex B2B software environments.
Proven ability to own a roadmap and drive product outcomes in collaboration with engineering and cross-functional stakeholders.
Strong stakeholder-management skills, including the ability to influence peer teams and secure buy-in without direct authority.
Strong product judgment, including comfort making prioritisation decisions in ambiguous or evolving problem spaces.
Strong discovery and problem-solving skills, with the ability to understand complex workflows, identify the right problems, and shape pragmatic solutions.
Experience working on products with multiple dependencies, governance needs, or cross-team delivery constraints.
Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
Strong organisational skills, with the ability to turn complex inputs into clear product direction.
Familiarity with product and delivery tools such as Jira, Productboard, Confluence, or similar platforms.
Comfort working closely with technical teams and understanding system, workflow, and integration constraints.
Strong practical use of AI in product work is expected. You should be able to demonstrate how you use AI to improve research, synthesis, prioritisation, communication, and execution quality.
Experience in regulated industries, or similarly high-complexity operational environments, is strongly preferred.
Experience in payments, issuer-processing, onboarding, or adjacent domains is a strong advantage.
At Paymentology, we believe that making a difference starts with the people behind the work. You will be part of a diverse, global team of Paymentologists who are united by a shared mission to advance the world through payments.
This is an opportunity to contribute to meaningful work, collaborate across markets and functions, and help shape the future of a business with global reach and real impact.
