The Product Manager – Cards Scheme & Usage will be responsible for driving card usage growth and maximizing the value of GCash card products through strong scheme partnerships and customer-focused strategies. This role owns product performance, helps drive profitability, and ensures features, rewards, and campaigns improve customer engagement and payment adoption.
You will be responsible for the following:
Define and execute product strategy focused on increasing card usage, engagement, and customer stickiness.
Own the card product P&L by optimizing revenue streams such as interchange and scheme-funded rewards.
Conduct market research and competitor analysis to identify opportunities that improve share of wallet and customer experience.
Partner with internal growth teams to design and execute A/B testing and in-app campaigns to drive adoption and active usage.
Analyze user feedback and behavioral data to guide product improvements and prioritization.
Act as the main liaison with card schemes (e.g., Visa, Mastercard) to maximize incentives, rewards, and partnership opportunities.
Drive integration of scheme-supported rewards, loyalty programs, and co-brand initiatives.
Ensure compliance with scheme requirements and timely adoption of network solutions and promotional initiatives.
Lead go-to-market plans for new card features and rewards programs in partnership with Marketing, Sales, Operations, and Customer Support.
We are looking for:
3–5 years of Product Management experience, preferably within FinTech, Payments, or Banking.
Strong understanding of card payments lifecycle, card economics, and product growth strategies.
Experience working with card schemes such as Visa or Mastercard.
Strong analytical mindset with experience using data to drive product decisions.
Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and negotiation skills.
Experience working in Agile environments with strong prioritization skills.
Nice to have:
Experience in loyalty, rewards, or co-branded card programs.
Exposure to BNPL or credit products.
Experience in a regulated banking or EMI environment.
SQL proficiency.
