Chase is seeking a highly effective and innovative Area Product Owner that will be responsible for driving strategic Pricing initiatives and defining and delivering the next generation of innovative, disruptive capabilities and products to meet the evolving borrowing needs of our customers.
As a Card Pricing Area Product Owner within the Marketing, Growth and Innovation organization of Card Services, you will use your experience in product development and strong track record of execution to define and deliver exciting new pricing capabilities and services to our customers. This position sits within the Marketing, Growth and Innovation organization of Card Services, a key business within Chase’s Consumer & Community Banking group.
Job Responsibilities:
- Lead the end-to-end management and product delivery across the full product lifecycle including research, ideation, prototype, test, build, launch, and measurement in partnership with users, stakeholders, Data, Design, and Technology.
- Own the area product vision, goals, and objectives, define requirements, and prioritize delivery in order to maximize business value.
- Embody true “customer-obsession” by identifying and leveraging user data, industry trends, and varying forms of user and stakeholder feedback to shape our design and roadmap.
- Partnering closely across the Card portfolios to support and deliver strategic and discretionary initiatives and driving the modernization vision and roadmap for Pricing.
- Drive decisions and prioritization by being results-oriented with excellent reasoning skills
- Utilize strong verbal and written communication skills to develop reports and conduct presentations
- Articulate complex issues in a concise, simple and relevant manner to all levels of the business
- Leverage their intellectual curiosity to build new and innovative products in a fast-paced environment
- Collaborate with cross functional areas to drive successful and timely project execution
- Champion customer experience across all user interactions, with particular focus on delivering simple/elegant solutions
- Promote a strong control environment by adhering to risk/control, procedure and process expectations
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
- 7+ years of applicable business experience with demonstrated expertise in Product Development in Agile / Scrum team environments within Financial Services or Technology firms
- Experience defining and leading a roadmap across a large, diverse, global organization
- A track record of defining and executing new products and solutions to support customer needs and address new business opportunities
- Demonstrated success working with functional stakeholders and across technology, data, digital, and servicing partners on new products and capabilities
- Expertise in agile processes and principles across the product development lifecycle
- Experience with modern technology stacks, including cloud, big data, microservices, APIs
- Experience with legacy technology stacks, such as Mainframe
- Familiarity with developing and driving automation frameworks, including user acceptance testing
