Product Manager BE – Auto Finance and Leasing |

Santander Consumer Finance SA Branch Belgium (Merelbeke)

As the Product Manager for Santander Consumer Finance in Belgium, you will be responsible for overseeing the development and execution of our product strategy in the Belgian market. Your primary focus will be to ensure that business requirements are effectively translated into IT development, driving innovation and enhancing customer experience.

You are going to pivot the growth of Leasing Belgium and the Auto Finance business, working closely with sales team, IT department, making sure that the business unit reach our market ambitions in Belgium. Our main customers are car dealerships and OEMs, therefore a good understanding of B2B is highly appreciated.

What will you do? You will….

• Market Analysis: Conduct thorough research to understand the local auto finance and leasing market, identifying trends, customer needs, and competitive landscape.

• Product Development: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including IT, marketing, and sales, to define product requirements and specifications.

• Stakeholder Management: Act as the primary liaison between business stakeholders and IT development teams, ensuring alignment on project goals and timelines.

• Project Management: Oversee the product lifecycle from concept to launch, managing timelines, resources, and budgets effectively.

• Performance Monitoring: Analyze product performance metrics and customer feedback to drive continuous improvement and innovation.

• Technology Integration: Leverage knowledge of Carwise and Autodisk technologies to enhance product offerings and streamline processes.

You have

• A bachelor’s degree in business, Finance, or a related field; an MBA is a plus.

• Proven experience in product management, preferably in the auto finance or leasing sector.

• Strong understanding of the Belgian market and regulatory environment.

• Familiarity with Carwise and Autodisk technologies is highly desirable.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

• Speak fluent English, Dutch and good knowledge of French
