Position Overview: We are seeking an experienced Product Manager (Subject Matter Expert) to lead strategic market segment expansion and drive operational excellence. This role will focus on identifying, analyzing, and implementing programs that broaden our customer base and strengthen internal capabilities. The Product Manager will collaborate with cross-functional teams—including operations, quality, engineering, and business development—to ensure alignment with organizational objectives. Expertise in biobanking and biorepository services, strong problem-solving skills, and the ability to influence change across all levels are essential for success.

How will you make an impact & Requirement

Key Responsibilities:

Process Optimization

· Conduct comprehensive assessments of existing processes, workflows, and systems to identify areas for improvement and changes required for success in new customer segments.

· Develop and maintain detailed process maps, value stream maps, and standard operating procedures (SOPs) to ensure clarity and consistency.

· Collaborate with stakeholders to define project scopes, objectives, timelines, and success metrics.

Market Expansion

· Lead program and product development for new customer segments, including gathering voice-of-customer inputs, pricing expectations, and segment-level profitability.

· Build business plans and ROI metrics for sustained profitable growth in new segments.

· Develop customer target lists and lead initial outreach efforts.

Change Management & Training

· Support change management initiatives by communicating project goals, progress, and outcomes effectively to all stakeholders.

· Develop internal training programs required for successful customer integration.

Qualifications:

· Bachelor’s degree in biology or related scientific field.

· 10+ years of proven experience in process improvement, operations optimization, manufacturing engineering, or operations optimization.

· Master’s degree in relevant field preferred.

· Recognized subject matter expert with advanced knowledge in biorepository and biobank process design, sample management, sample sequencing, and process validation.

· Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

· Demonstrated leadership skills in coaching, reviewing, and delegating work in a matrix organization.

· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively across cross-functional teams and engage stakeholders at all levels.

· Proficiency in laboratory information management systems (LIMS), and Microsoft Office Suite.

Work Environment & Additional Information: This position is primarily office-based but requires regular visits to labs and production locations. Travel to other company sites and customer locations will be required (20–40%). The role operates in a fast-paced environment where priorities can shift quickly, requiring flexibility and resilience.
