About the Role

The Product Manager will be responsible for owning the end-to-end development of Amartha Empower’s digital platform, ensuring a seamless, intuitive, and high-converting user experience.

This role bridges:

  • Business (Zakat Lead, Partnerships, Campaigns)
  • Engineering (Web, Mobile, QA)
  • Growth & Marketing

Responsibilities


1. Product Strategy & Roadmap

  • Define and own product vision aligned with Empower & Amartha goals
  • Develop and prioritize product roadmap based on business impact

2. User Experience & Conversion Optimization

  • Improve end-to-end donor journey:
  • Optimize conversion rate and reduce drop-offs

3. Feature Development & Execution

  • Lead development of key features:
  • Translate business requirements into clear product specs (PRD)
  • Work closely with Engineering for delivery

4. Data-Driven Product Iteration

  • Define and track key product metrics:
    - Conversion rate
    - Funnel drop-off
    - Retention & repeat donation
  • Run experiments (A/B testing, feature iteration)
  • Use insights to continuously improve product performance

5. Cross-functional Collaboration

  • Act as translator between business and tech

Requirements

1. 3–6+ Years Product Management Experience

  • Experience in consumer product / fintech / marketplace / platform
  • Proven track record of shipping impactful features

2. Strong Product Thinking

  • Ability to break down problems into clear product solutions
  • Strong sense of UX, user behavior, and funnel optimization

3. Data-Driven Mindset

  • Comfortable working with metrics, dashboards, and experiments
  • Able to translate data into product decisions

4. Technical Understanding

  • Able to work effectively with engineers
  • Understand basic system design

5. Mission Alignment (Strong Plus)

  • Interest in social impact / donation / financial inclusion
  • Understanding of zakat ecosystem is a bonus
