Summary Generated by Built In

Snap Inc is a technology company. We believe the camera presents the greatest opportunity to improve the way people live and communicate. Snap contributes to human progress by empowering people to express themselves, live in the moment, learn about the world, and have fun together. The Company’s three core products are Snapchat, a visual messaging app that enhances your relationships with friends, family, and the world; Lens Studio, an augmented reality platform that powers AR across Snapchat and other services; and its AR glasses, Spectacles.

The Product team combines creativity, data-driven insights, and operational excellence to shape the experiences that make Snapchat engaging and impactful for our global community. This team of Designers, Product Managers, and Strategists works collaboratively across areas like Core Growth, Content, Bitmoji, Augmented Reality, AI, and Emerging Products. • Design and analyze graph-aware experiments and risk-based challenges, and track a focused KPI set: registration completion, login success, time to verified, permission opt-in, and Help Center contact rate

  • Lead delivery with Engineering, Design, and Data Science, and partner with SRE and Support to improve reliability, latency, and incident response, including safeguards for third-party dependencies like SMS delivery

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

  • Strong technical acumen and systems thinking applied to identity, authentication, authorization, and risk mitigation in consumer products at scale

  • Skilled at translating policy and regulatory requirements into product and technical requirements without unnecessary friction

  • Excellent communication and stakeholder alignment skills with experience influencing cross functional partners across Security, Privacy, Legal, User Acquisition, and Marketing

  • Deep analytical ability with proficiency in funnel analysis, experiment design, and interpreting model performance and trade offs

Minimum Qualifications:

  • BS/BA degree or equivalent years of experience

  • 4+ years of experience building and shipping products at a technology company; OR a Masters and 3+ years of experience

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience working on authentication, onboarding,  trust and safety, or adjoining systems that involve identity and verification

  • Product management experience with ownership of login, registration, identity verification, or permissions flows at scale

  • Background in abuse prevention, bot and fraud detection, rate limiting, and risk based authentication

  • Familiarity with youth safety and age assurance approaches and the privacy by design principles that support them

  • Understanding of mobile and web platform capabilities and limitations for permissions, notifications, and device identifiers

  • Experience partnering with SRE and developer platform teams to improve reliability, observability, and documentation of critical path systems
