ABOUT THIS ROLE
The Product Manager for Accounts Reference will have product ownership of our core account creation and maintenance system . This role will manage the SDLC of Accounts including roadmap curation, Product Owner responsibilities, and end-to-end stewardship of their products and features . They will a dditionally ensure their product s align with and exceed client and regulatory commitments as agreed upon by the firm.
Duties/Responsibilities

  • Drive prioritiz at ion and requirements definition for strategic initiatives and product priorities to deliver key business outcomes.
  • Oversee multiple product management processes, establish priorities, and coordina te with teams to create schedules throughout the product life cycle
  • Build strong relationships with key internal stakeholders and clients
  • Collate detailed requirements and define User Stories in collaboration with internal and external customers
  • Work with the development team to deliver against these in an Agile context and to ratify proposed technical solutions, including testing new functionality
  • Prioritize requests to drive growth and maximize profitability
  • Work collaboratively with various internal and external teams to resolve dependencies
  • Interact with clients to validate demand and verify the accuracy of the planned workflows
  • Promote adoption of the completed product and provide training tools/documentation to drive successful use
  • Collaborate with other departments to build trust and understanding
  • Support Sales/Relationship Management in customer meetings and calls as a subject matter expert


Education and/or Experience

  • Bachelor's degree, preferably in a technical field (CS or engineering degree)
  • 2 - 5 years of experience in a Product or Product-adjacent role
  • Business data modeling of a complex business domain (e.g., CRM, logistics , construction, enterprise marketing, finance, etc.)
  • Knowledge in a Fintech-related field (e.g., wealth management, custody, payments, etc.)
  • Experience with vendor integrations and result-driven outcomes
  • Experience collaborating on RESTful API design
  • Agile practices, with a strong preference for incremental delivery
  • Experience with stakeholder negotiation


Required Skills/Abilities

  • Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communications
  • Ability to influence across all levels and foster alignment and a sense of urgency
  • Capacity to use BI and related tools to mine data for insights ( e.g.,Excel , SQL)
  • End-to-end SDLC Management (Software Development Life Cycle)
  • Ability to drive frequent value delivery through Agile methodologies
  • Organizational skills and capacity to oversee multiple work streams
  • Strong ability to listen . While being Customer-centric, you elicit non-obvious customer needs and synthesize research to gain a deep understanding and narrow definition of a problem
  • Operational knowledge of project and communications software (e.g., Slack, JIRA, Confluence, etc.)


Work Environment

  • This position operates in a hybrid environment
  • This position requires up to 30% travel - interoffice, industry events, and client sites
