Product Owner Specialist

Developing new products and services and designing BRD papers to translate ideas to concerned parties. in addition to Identifying technical and business requirements, translating them to technical departments testing, analyzing, troubleshooting, monitoring performance, performing improvement activities, and participating in implementing different product development projects within the department

• Performing market research, examining new trends/ technologies to suggest innovative ideas, as well as forecasting analysis, collecting data about market segments preferences, demands and penetration strategies.
• Researching and analyzing competitors’ products, services and offers to understand Zain cash’s position related to the business marketing segment.
• Gathering customer feedback and requirements in business marketing segment from customer care(operation), sales departments, as well as other external sources, and subsequently utilizing customer’s feedback in improving products and service levels and ensure customer satisfaction.
• Identify the technical requirements for each new product and ensure that product initiatives provide an adding value to the business.
• Preparing concepts for new products, services, and initiatives, which include a description of its characteristics and requirements, and subsequently translating the product features to technical terms and communicating them to concerned parties and related systems and applications such as Mobile App, Core system, CRM, to guarantee functionality and seamless delivering of services.
• Participating in designing testing scenarios, performing tests, and troubleshooting for existing and newly developed products including pre-launching testing to guarantee product technical functionality, and monitoring products performance throughout product life cycle.
• Participate in preparing financial business models for new products which include the analysis of financial aspects such as breakeven points, expected revenue, marketing costs and others.
• Ensuring project compliance with legal and regulatory terms and regulations during project development and project life cycle with coordination with concerned parties.
• Providing sales and customer care with support, training, and direction in matters regarding Mobile Money products.
• Monitoring the Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), and developing periodic reports which include KPI results, gap analysis for targets and results…etc.
• Performing other duties related to the job as assigned by the direct Manager.

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Information Technology, Business Information Systems (BIS), Management Information Systems (MIS), Engineering, or any other related field.
• 3 to 5 years of relevant experience in a similar role.
• Preferred Certifications (any of the following):
• PMI-ACP (Agile Certified Practitioner)
• Certified ScrumMaster (CSM)
• Professional Scrum Master (PSM)
• Professional Scrum Product Owner (PSPO)
• Certified Scrum Professional – Product Owner (CSP-PO)

• Proficient in market research to identify trends, customer needs, and competitive positioning.
• Strong ability in user feedback analysis to inform product decisions and enhancements.
• Skilled in requirements gathering through collaboration with stakeholders and end-users.
• Capable of feature prioritization based on business value, user impact, and feasibility.
• Solid understanding of product roadmaps and the product development lifecycle.
• Experience in testing features and collecting actionable feedback for continuous improvement.
• High attention to detail, ensuring accuracy in deliverables and documentation.
• Excellent time management and ability to handle multiple tasks effectively.
• Product-oriented mentality, with a strong sense of ownership, curiosity, and user empathy.
