What You’ll Do:   

A qualified Product Management Intern must be a student who is currently enrolled full-time in an accredited degree program. The individual must have the ability to work independently with minimal supervisory direction. The intern will be exposed to many areas of how a business strategy is developed going from a macro view down to the actionable sales and marketing steps.  They will have an opportunity to work across multiple functions within an organization and see how different groups collaborate towards a common goal.  Through the projects there will also be opportunities to refine presentation and communication skills to help develop their style and professional presence.  

• Perform trend, PESTEL, and market analysis in support of the Industrial SMM.    

• Assist in developing value pricing models for targeted applications.  

• Evaluate competitor product offerings in key areas.  

• Perform initial customer evaluations in key markets.  

• Assist with the development of sales initiatives to improve internal processes.  

• Assist in developing marketing collateral for key growth initiatives.   

What You’ll Need:   

• Pursuit of Business or Engineering Degree Preferred  

• Proficient in Microsoft Office Software Suite (Word, Power Point, Excel, etc.)  

Compensation:   

• $22-27 (commensurate with relevant experience and educational background)  

Work Hours/Length of Program:   

• The internship will run for 12 weeks from May to August   

• Temporary Part/Full Time, targeting 40 hours per week   

• Exact start and end dates are flexible based on school schedules and the needs of the business   

• This is a paid internship   

Working Conditions and Physical Demands:   

This position is based in our state-of-the-art manufacturing facility and involves working in a manufacturing environment/general exposure to a manufacturing environment. The environment may involve exposure to noise, temperature fluctuations, or other factors. Employees are required to abide by PPE guidelines when onsite.  

• Successful completion of a drug screening and a physical exam are required for this role   

• This position involves regular walking, standing, sitting for extended periods of time, hearing, and talking.   

• May involve close vision, color vision, depth perception, focus adjustment, and viewing computer monitor for extended periods of time.   

• Involves manual dexterity for using keyboard, mouse, and other office equipment.   

• May involve moving or lifting items up to 25pounds  

• Ability to work in a manufacturing setting

 East Granby, CT if local. Remote possibility depending on location.
