We are seeking a highly motivated and analytical Product Management Data Analyst Intern to support our Product Management team in evaluating the performance of newly launched products. This internship will provide hands-on experience analyzing product launch results, auditing released product parts, assessing sales performance against business targets, and delivering actionable recommendations to improve future product introductions.
The ideal candidate is curious, detail-oriented, and passionate about using data to solve business problems. This role requires strong analytical skills, the ability to work with large datasets, and the capability to communicate insights clearly to cross-functional stakeholders.

This internship is located at our Bloomington, MN headquarters, during an 10-12-week period. Qualified candidates must be able to work an on-site schedule at our Bloomington, MN office.
- Analyze sales performance of newly released products and components against forecasted targets and business objectives.
- Conduct detailed audits of new product release parts to measure launch effectiveness and identify performance trends.
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) related to revenue, unit sales, customer adoption, market penetration, and profitability.
- Compare actual launch performance to pre-launch business projections and product requirements.
- Generate actionable recommendations based on launch performance findings.
- Support post-launch reviews and lessons-learned sessions with data-driven insights.
- Assist Product Managers in understanding customer demand, product mix performance, and market response.
- Collaborate with Product Management and Marketing team with product brochure reviews and refresh initiatives to ensure content accuracy and alignment with current product offerings.
- Audit product literature, marketing materials, and digital content to verify specifications, part numbers, descriptions, and product positioning.
- Maintain and update product part lists used in catalogs, brochures, sales tools, and marketing collateral.
- Develop and validate product cross-reference guides to support customers, distributors, and internal sales teams in identifying product alternatives and replacement parts.
- Collaborate with Product Management and Marketing to ensure consistency of product data across business systems and customer-facing materials.
Minimum Qualifications:
Currently enrolled sophomore/2nd year in an accredited degree program pursuing a bachelor’s degree in: Product Management, Industrial Engineering, Business, Business Analytics, Marketing, or a related field
Experience in Microsoft Office applications: Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint
Preferred Qualifications:
Minimum 3.0 out of a 4.0 cumulative GPA
Energetic self-starter who seeks innovative solutions and a collaborative environment
Excellent oral and written communications skills
Strong prioritization and problem-solving abilities
Combined business and technical knowledge and/or desire for Product Management-focused career path

Hourly Pay Range: $23.00-25.00, depending on projected undergraduate graduation date, educational degree in progress and major of study upon time of hire.
This position is overtime eligible as per state and federal regulations.
