Job Description:
The Product Management Engineer will support ideation, deployment, sustaining and phase-out of products for international markets at Array. This position requires an excellent understanding of the PV solar sector, and international awareness. It will assist the creation of the present and future products in Array’s portfolio, focusing on making sure these product are market leaders at international territories. The Engineer will be part of an international and multidisciplinary Product Management team, and will interface key departments within the Company. The position requires a professional that can be both creative and specific, an abstract thinker and a doer, that can adapt the work and mentality to the product phase at hand.
Key Responsibilities:- Assist product development analysis: market trends, competitive evaluation, value analysis.
- Support product lifecycle: product ideation, development, sustaining and phase-out.
- Interface with all relevant departments during product lifecycle: Engineering, Supply-Chain, Quality, Sales, etc.
- Perform Voice of Customer interviews and campaigns.
- Participate in product roadmap definition and deployment.
- Focus on international territories, predominantly EMEA and LatAm, but not only.
Required Qualifications:
- Engineering degree/master, industrial, aeronautic, electrical or mechanical preferred, but others can be considered.
- Minimum 5 year of Solar PV experience, preferably working at an EPC, developer or tracker company.
- Product Management qualification and/or 3 years of Product Management experience.
- Microsoft Office proficiency, with focus on Excel and Powerpoint.
- English and Spanish proficiency (Business negotiation level at a minimum).
- Creative thinker. Capable of connecting abstract ideas and thinking out of the box.
- Organized, disciplined and efficient time-manager.
- Proactive, diligent, curious, capable of suggesting improvements and identifying gaps without having to be prompt or asked for them.
- Data orientated.
- Good communicator:
- Concise: capable of explaining complex ideas in a summarized way, easily understood by the other parties.
- Discussion skills: able to politely defend ideas in a stressful environment, where assumptions are questioned or approaches are intellectually challenged.
- Good team worker and individual contributor, adapting to both environments smoothly.
· Portuguese, French and/or Italian proficiency as a plus.
· AI user experience and/or training.
· International trade understanding. Geopolitical awareness.
· Living abroad experience will be positively considered.
Working Conditions:- Some level of international travel will be requested (consider one international trip every quarter, and 1-2 domestic trips (within Spain/EU) per month).
- This position requires interfacing with teams working in different time zones, especially in the US.
- Flexibility around working hours is required.
