The Role

Title: Product Management Director
Location: 685 3rd Ave. New York, NY 10017 (Onsite 5 days a week) 

Employment Type: Full-Time

Annual Salary Range: $125-000 - $150,000, bonus eligible

DocGo, the leading provider of technology enabled mobile healthcare throughout the US, is seeking an experienced Group Product Manager to lead key product initiatives and a team of product managers. While basic telehealth companies are limited to virtual visits, we’re breaking barriers to bring digital, on location, and at home care to patients, with our software enabling on-demand, high quality care wherever it’s needed.  Success will require close collaboration across Product, Engineering, Support, Clinical Operations, and Executive Leadership to balance our product roadmap across short-term initiatives and long-term strategy. As team lead, multiple product managers will report to you. This is a highly visible role that requires excellent presentation skills and ability to contribute to strategic discussions with internal and external stakeholders, including large enterprise clients.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage a team of managers and individual contributors across Product Management and Business Intelligence functions, facilitating collaboration, professional development, process, and the overall growth of a world class organization

  • Own the curation of DocGo’s technology product roadmap and the communication cadence for
    roadmap updates to stakeholders across the organization

  • Own the cross-functional planning process for launching new products, features, and solutions.
    This includes identifying launch timelines, producing documentation, and leading trainings /
    feedback sessions with internal teams and key customers.

  • Foster collaboration with product designers, engineers, quality assurance, sales, and marketing
    to explore, prioritize and launch novel solutions

  • Facilitate an agile delivery process, running standups, regular planning meetings, project
    kickoffs, and retros, as needed

  • Represent internal and external customers by understanding their needs and product
    requirements

  • Build trust with leadership, engineers, customer-facing teams, and key customers

  • Be and expert in competing solutions and market needs

  • Review proposed customer SOWs (statements of work) before they are finalized to ensure
    accuracy, feasibility, and alignment with DocGo’s product strategy

  • Track and report on success metrics for key business lines and product roadmap initiatives

  • Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent)

  • 8+ years’ experience in a product management role

  • Develops and drives strategic planning efforts across the organization, shaping and aligning short-, mid-, and long-term product roadmaps with overall business objectives.

  • Delivers high-impact executive-level reporting and strategic updates, ensuring alignment with key stakeholders and organizational priorities.

  • Extensive experience managing software development backlogs in a software company environment with scale (multiple product teams)

  • Experience in a management role with direct reports is highly preferred

  • Experience leading an agile process i.e. Scrum, Kanban, or XP

  • Experience with microservices or service-oriented architectures is a plus

  • Ability to report to the office 4-5 days per week (this is not a remote position)

  • You must be a great communicator and presenter. You communicate in a professional and personable manner. You enjoy working with and learning from fellow leaders, development team members, client facing teams, customers, and executives.

  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.

  • A desire to create change in an industry that truly needs it, to create a model for more equitable, affordable, and effective healthcare for everyone
