The Product Management Business Analyst, acting as a system and/or functional area subject matter expert, is responsible for investigating and documenting solution and/or program requirements through collaboration with stakeholders, Product Managers, and business partners. Aligned with TRIMEDX’ Vision, Mission and Values, this individual will perform in an Agile development environment, working with Product Managers, business leaders, internal stakeholders, external customers, subject matter experts, user experience designers, and/or software developers. Activities will include, but are not limited to, feature breakdown, client and operational requirements gathering, process mapping, rough prototyping/wireframing, documentation creation and/or updating, development story and/or system testing, training development support, and supporting the delivery of fully realized capabilities to the business.
Location: Indianapolis, IN preferred; Candidates must currently reside in the Eastern or Central time zones with close proximity to a major airport. Candidates must have the ability to travel nationally as needed, including to our Indianapolis, IN Central Office.

Responsibilities
Research, Requirements & Documentation (40%)
- Develop business process documentation surrounding features and workflows; aligning with IT documentation.
- Assist business units with maintaining policy, procedure and/or process documentation related to systems and software development based as user stories and features are delivered.
- Document and investigate project or program requirements through collaboration with stakeholders, team members, and business partners.
- Collaborate with business and/or technical subject matter experts (SMEs) to capture and chronicle business needs, features, and requirements.
- Understands and documents an overarching framework and mapping of data and workflow integrations as it relates to the product roadmap and backlog.
- Record and refine business process requirements into optimal software workflows.
- Translates complex technology and solutions concepts into clear, digestible business appropriate language; creates images, graphics or charts that provide exceptional clarity for or add impact to otherwise complex material
- Coordinate and/or complete field and customer research projects/activities as assigned.
- Research end-user suggestions to supply information as to business value
Testing, Training Support & Systems Support (40%)
- Test final development and delivery of user stories and features throughout the Program Increments.
- Develop and maintain system user documentation and content which supports the creation and/or updating of training content or materials.
- Support the development of user training materials, tools and content.
- Sys Admin and/or support of the TRIMEDX product management software platform.
Team Development & Customer Satisfaction (20%)
- Creates and fosters an environment of innovation; helps to remove roadblocks and advocates and drives change management and adoption of behaviors and practices.
- Collaborate with IT Product owner(s) to clarify communication channel between business and IT Development
- Work with teams to support continuous improvement and implementing corrective actions as defects are identified.
- Provide training and mentoring to team members.
- Brief solutions management team on statuses, risks, and blockers; including taking the role of champion for work and projects which are assigned.
- With the oversight of one or more solutions managers, clearly communicate best practices, roadblocks, timelines and/or risks to all parts of the business as appropriate.
Travel Expectations
- Participate in field site visits for process mapping and/or requirements gathering.
- Attend industry conferences, seminars and other events related to the clinical engineering and/or software development space.

Skills and Experience
- Minimum of 2-3 years of B2B software product management, product owner, project management, and/or technical writer experience required; specific knowledge and/or experience with TRIMEDX, healthcare, clinical engineering and/or medical device service management software will be considered favorably and in lieu of direct product/software experience
- Understanding of Agile development and software design processes preferred
- Experience with both web and mobile application development a plus
- A proven track record of process mapping, visual process/workflow development, technical writing and/or technical oriented business communications is required
- Strong written, verbal and presentation communication skills
- Experience indirectly coordinating and managing the work of others

- Familiar with IT or Product Management concepts, tracking and applications (ex. Aha, Jira, Rally, Confulence, etc)
