What is the role?
We are looking for a Product Lead who understands both the language of business and the language of technology, and who can guide our teams to deliver products that create real impact. The Mission This role is about leadership through clarity. You will bring together the worlds of technology, marketing, and product to make sure what we build always aligns with why we build it. From defining API documentation standards to leading agile delivery cycles, you will ensure every product decision drives measurable business value and customer success.
What you’ll be responsible:
- Lead the Product Ownership discipline at SmartMessage and set high standards for clarity, collaboration, and delivery
- Partner closely with Product, Marketing, and Engineering teams to connect strategic goals with execution on the ground
- Shape and maintain product roadmaps across modules like Campaign Manager, Journey 360, Audience Manager, and our mobile SDKs
- Translate business objectives into clear, technically sound user stories with measurable outcomes
- Lead Scrum ceremonies and ensure agile processes run with purpose and transparency
- Partner with UI/UX, QA, and engineering to turn concepts into user-focused, testable solutions
- Define and maintain API documentation and integration flows for internal and external use
- Collaborate with marketing and product strategy teams to validate ideas, prioritize features, and align product direction with market needs
- Drive feature development across both mobile and web, ensuring a unified customer experience
- Track KPIs such as feature adoption, delivery predictability, and user satisfaction
- Experience working with API-first platforms and documentation tools such as Stoplight, Postman, or Swagger – nice to have
- Familiarity with AWS, Kafka, ClickHouse, or data-driven personalization architectures - nice to have
- Exposure to mobile SDK development (Flutter or React Native) - nice to have
- Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO) or similar Agile certification - nice to have
We are looking for a passionate talent professional who has;
- Minimum 7+ years of experience as a Product Owner, Product Manager, or equivalent role in SaaS, MarTech, or enterprise technology
- Deep understanding of Scrum and Agile frameworks, with proven hands-on experience in backlog management and iterative delivery
- Strong technical literacy; able to discuss APIs, architecture, integrations, and data models confidently
- Ability to connect business strategy with technical feasibility and speak both "business" and "engineering" fluently
- Experience leading cross-functional teams and aligning marketing and product initiatives
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Fluent in English, both written and verbal
