Your Impact
You will lead the development of Inworld’s realtime models and products to empower developers to effortlessly build the next generation of consumer-facing AI applications. This role is both strategic and hands on. You will set direction, make hard prioritization decisions, and personally ensure we ship products developers love and trust. You will collaborate with AI researchers and engineers to turn cutting-edge AI capabilities into reliable and scalable developer experiences. Your work will directly shape how the world builds and deploys real-time AI.
In this role, you will:
Drive product vision and strategy for Inworld’s products to enable the future of consumer scale AI applications
Get hands on with code, both manually and with AI to not only develop prototypes but ship new production features and products in collaboration with engineering
Translate complex AI capabilities and technical constraints into clear, developer friendly product experiences
Work closely with C-level executives and industry leaders to align our product vision with business goals
Partner with AI researchers and engineers to bridge technical innovation with real-world developer needs
Synthesize partner and ecosystem feedback into clear product requirements and a prioritized roadmap, leading pre- and post-launch execution
You might be a good fit if you have:
BA/BS degree or higher in Computer Science, Engineering, or a similar technical field
6+ years of product management experience and an exceptional track record of building 0→1 developer products in high growth environments
Excitement about building the default infrastructure for real-time AI at consumer scale. This includes the multimodal models, pipelines, and tools needed to power the next generation of AI applications
Comfort owning outcomes rather than just roadmaps, with strong product judgment in ambiguous problem spaces
Founder level mindset with the ability to spot gaps, propose solutions, and move work forward without waiting for direction
Hands-on builder. You use AI coding tools to navigate the codebase, mock up features, run experiments, and pull your own data
A passion for learning and staying up-to-date with the latest advancements in AI and its applications
In-office location: Mountain View, California, United States. Candidates must be based in the SF Bay Area or willing to relocate (you will be working on-site in our South Bay office a few days a week).
The US base salary range for this full-time position is $230,000 - $400,000 + bonus + equity + benefits.
Skills Required
- BA/BS in Computer Science, Engineering, or similar technical field
- 6+ years of product management experience
- Proven track record building 0->1 developer products in high-growth environments
- Hands-on coding experience, including using AI coding tools to develop prototypes and ship features
- Experience translating complex AI capabilities and constraints into developer-friendly product experiences
- Ability to partner closely with AI researchers and engineers to deliver production-grade systems
- Based in the SF Bay Area or willing to relocate and work on-site in Mountain View a few days a week
What We Do
Inworld AI is a realtime voice AI research lab and platform. It builds the voice layer for consumer AI, the speech that powers companions, tutors, coaches, customer-service agents, and creative and content applications. Inworld's flagship product is text-to-speech, top-ranked on the independent Artificial Analysis Speech Arena, and around it the company offers a full realtime voice stack. That stack includes text-to-speech (Realtime TTS-2, with over 100 languages and natural-language voice steering), speech-to-text, and an LLM router that reaches 200+ models from every major provider with no markup. Developers can call any product on its own, for example Realtime TTS through a single API call, or combine speech-to-text, an LLM, and text-to-speech into one live conversation through the Realtime API. Dedicated GPUs are available for the largest workloads. Inworld serves developers and founders building consumer AI products. As voice quality becomes commoditized, the company's focus is realtime conversation at scale: voice agents that respond in roughly 200 milliseconds for thousands of simultaneous users, at a cost that stays efficient as usage grows. Inworld is a product-oriented research lab.
