The Role

Jumio helps organizations to know and trust their customers online. From account opening to ongoing monitoring, the Jumio platform provides advanced identity verification, risk signals and compliance solutions that help you accurately establish, maintain and reassert trust.

Example Responsibilities:

  • Define and drive the product requirements and strategy (in collaboration with SVP Product & Technology) for Jumio´s ID Verification (physical and digital IDs) product line, ensuring alignment with Jumio’s overall company strategy, business goals, customer needs, and industry trends.
  • Lead the strategy for next-generation identity standards, specifically focusing on the adoption and integration of Digital IDs (e.g., eIDAS 2.0, mDLs) and Agentic AI Verification.
  • Execution-first mindset, working closely with Engineering and Machine Learning teams to translate strategic goals into deliverable roadmap.
  • Oversee the entire product lifecycle for government-issued ID verification, from ideation to launch and ongoing optimization. Ensure products meet compliance, security, and privacy standards relevant to ID verification.
  • Lead a team of Product Owners, ensure value delivery in time and quality, helping them grow their skills in agile processes, backlog management, and stakeholder communication.
  • Establish and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure success and identify areas for improvement.
  • Collaborate closely with Product Marketing to define the go-to-market strategy, positioning, and messaging for new product launches and major enhancements. Partner with Sales leadership to ensure the commercial teams are equipped with the knowledge, tools, and training required to effectively sell new identity solutions.
  • Represent the company at industry events and in front of customers, helping to establish thought leadership.

Experience and Qualifications: 

  • Multiple years of senior product management experience specifically within the Identity Verification (IDV), fraud prevention, or KYC/AML space.
  • Experience leading Product teams with a proven track record of people leadership, coaching and team development.
  • Understanding of the government-issued ID landscape. Experience with Digital IDs (e.g., mobile driver’s licenses, eIDAS wallets, verifiable credentials) is an advantage.
  • Proven ability to switch between high-level strategic thinking and hands-on execution. You must be able to establish a clear understanding of business value for the team.
  • Data-driven attitude, high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with Machine Learning and Engineering teams regarding advanced technologies.
  • Knowledge of agile processes and principles. Experience with the Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) or a similar framework is an advantage.
  • Proven ability to leverage AI tools (e.g., ChatGPT, Claude) to streamline workflows, including advanced prompt engineering and using AI-driven analytics to turn data into actionable insights.
  • Ability to work in an international context.
  • Excellent analytical, conceptual and communication skills.

Interview Process

You start with an introduction call with the Talent Business Partner, after which you proceed to a 1st interview with the Hiring Manager. Next, you are meeting with stakeholders within Product to assess your skills experience and following up you're meeting key stakeholders from the Sales and Success team to check your cross-functional collaboration practices. To wrap this up, you're meeting with the CPTO and interim CEO to go over final questions from your side.
