The PositionThe Commercial Data and AI organization is the engine of the data-driven commercial transformation. This role is the "Strategic Architect" for Customer Facing Insights and Precision Engagement, moving the organization from generic outreach to hyper-personalized, data-led interactions. You will lead the development of seamless, tech-enabled products, specifically the Customer 360 (C360) and Next Best Action (NBA) engines, to empower field and marketing teams with real-time, actionable intelligence.
Your mandate is to operationalize precision engagement—integrating disparate data sources into a unified customer view and deploying algorithmic recommendations that dictate the optimal Customer, Channel, Content, and Cadence. By simplifying complex data into "Actionable Nudges," you will eliminate manual workload for field teams and ensure every HCP interaction is valuable, seamless, and pleasant.
The OpportunityYou are the entrepreneurial architect of our AI/Analytics ecosystem. Your goal is to build scalable, scientific analytics products that are seamlessly embedded into the workflows of our Medical and Commercial teams to ensure every solution drives a tangible, validated impact on patient and business outcomes.
Lead the unified squad consisting of Business product leader (you), Digital Tech, and Business Activation. You are responsible for the design, feature prioritization, analytical framework/methodology, data requirement and execution and management of analytics and data products for this particular product
DBuild the overall design, business case, data strategy, analytics approach and UI for the Analytics product
Agile Product Management: Use Jira and Scrum methodologies to translate business "pain points" into a groomed backlog of technical features with clear, time-bound milestones.
Feature Prioritization: Ruthlessly prioritize the product backlog based on the intersection of Business Value, Data Readiness, and Technical Feasibility.
Ensure insights are delivered where decisions happen. Whether it is Veeva/CRM, Marketing Automation, or custom digital tools, the analytics must be embedded in the existing workflow, not a separate destination.
Design "Best-in-Class" interfaces that are intuitive and "non-scientific" for the end-user, compelling Field and Medical teams to take the right actions at the right time.
Own the "Final Mile." You are responsible for driving the adoption rate and measuring the tangible "Lift" (ROI) generated by the product.
Define rigorous validation criteria. You must be willing to "kill" a product if the EDA (Exploratory Data Analysis) shows a low signal-to-noise ratio or if the data sources cannot support a scalable solution.
Simplify complex AI concepts into strategic narratives for C-suite/Senior Leadership. You must justify the "spend" by demonstrating the "impact."
Deep understanding of the Medical/Commercial lifecycle in Life Sciences (HCP engagement, Patient Journeys, Regulatory/Compliance).
Must have experience in building AI and Agentic AI solutions at scale
You must understand "how the engine works." This includes a strong grasp of Cloud stacks, Data Engineering, API integrations, and MLOps.
Hands-on experience with CRM (Salesforce/Veeva), Marketing Automation (Adobe/SFMC), and modern Data Warehouses (Snowflake/Databricks)
The ability to operate as a "mini-CEO" of your product line, navigating a complex matrix organization to get things done.
Expert knowledge of the data sets required for Pharma use cases (e.g., IQVIA/Veeva data, claims, digital engagement metrics).
Mastery of data storytelling—the ability to use data to prove a point, influence a decision, and inspire a team.
Ensuring adherence with all aspects of Pharma compliance through close collaboration with respective representatives of different compliance domains.
