Position Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized Launch Manager to join our Product Operations team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing the end-to-end launch process for new products and features, ensuring timely and successful releases. As a Launch Manager, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to coordinate all aspects of product launches, from planning and execution to post-launch analysis.

Position Responsibilities & Essential functions

Launch Planning:

  • Develop and manage comprehensive launch plans, including timelines, milestones, and deliverables, ensuring alignment with business goals and stakeholder expectations.

Cross-functional Coordination:

  • Work closely with product management, engineering, marketing, sales, customer support, and other teams to ensure all launch activities are coordinated and executed smoothly.

Risk Management:

  • Identify potential risks and issues related to product launches and develop mitigation strategies to ensure successful outcomes.

Communication:

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for all launch-related communications, providing regular updates to stakeholders and ensuring transparency throughout the launch process.

Documentation:

  • Create and maintain detailed launch documentation, including project plans, status reports, and post-launch analyses.

Training & Support:

  • Coordinate the development and delivery of training materials and sessions for internal teams to ensure they are prepared for product launches.

Quality Assurance:

  • Oversee final quality checks and ensure that all launch activities meet established standards and requirements.

Post-Launch Analysis:

  • Conduct post-launch evaluations to assess the success of product launches, gather feedback, and identify areas for improvement.

Continuous Improvement:

  • Continuously refine and improve launch processes and methodologies to increase efficiency and effectiveness.

 

Qualifications and Required Skills

 

Education
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Business Administration, Project Management, or a related field;
  • PMP certification or equivalent program management certification preferred.
Experience
  • 5+ years of experience in product operations, launch program management, or program management for SaaS software products.
  • Proven success leading complex, cross-functional product launches in fast-paced, scaling organizations.
  • Deep experience managing product and launch workflows in Aha!, including roadmaps, releases, dependencies, customer lists, and cross-team visibility.
  • Experience operating within Agile or Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) environments.
  • Demonstrated ability to design, implement, and scale operational and business processes that support product development and go-to-market.
  • Experience managing multiple concurrent initiatives across product, engineering, marketing, sales, and customer success.
  • Demonstrable experience coaching, mentoring, and influencing teams without direct authority.
Skills & Competencies
  • Advanced program and launch management skills, with Aha! as the primary system of record for planning, tracking, and executive visibility.
  • Strong operational rigor, with the ability to define, document, evaluate, and continuously improve end-to-end processes.
  • Exceptional organizational and prioritization skills, able to manage ambiguity and competing demands.
  • Customer-centric mindset with a strong understanding of customer experience drivers and success metrics.
  • Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills, including executive-level communication.
  • Proven ability to build trusted relationships and align diverse stakeholders toward shared outcomes.
  • Proactive, solutions-oriented problem solver who anticipates risks and drives mitigation strategies.
  • Highly detail-oriented with a consistent focus on quality, accuracy, and execution excellence.
  • Working knowledge of complementary tools such as Jira, Jira Align, and Microsoft Office (Excel, Visio), as needed.

Preferred Qualifications

Certifications:

  • PMP, Scrum Master, or other relevant project management certifications.

Tools:

  • Familiarity with product lifecycle management (PLM) tools and methodologies.

Experience:

  • Experience in a tech or SaaS company is a plus.

Compensation: $120,000 - $150,000

CDK Global is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. Compensation packages are based on several factors, including but not limited to skills, experience, certifications, and work location.  The total compensation package for this position may also include annual performance bonus, benefits and/or other applicable incentive compensation plans.We offer Medical, dental, and vision benefits in addition to:
