Job DescriptionWe are currently looking to strengthen our team with a driven and resourceful Product Launch Manager.
In this role, you will be responsible for implementing and continuously improving repeatable and scalable launch processes and facilitating their operational execution to help Unit4 effectively bring new products and product updates to the market and maximize their customer and market impact. Working closely with Product Management and other business functions, you will foster cross-functional collaboration, ensure visibility around product launches, and drive excellence in launch management through continuous improvement.
As a Product Launch Manager, you will be part of the CPTO Delivery Operations team, whose mission is to enable and optimize the end-to-end software delivery lifecycle of Unit4 solutions across Product Management, Engineering, and Cloud Operations.
You will work within Product Operations, one of the three governance functions comprising Delivery Operations. Product Operations enables Unit4’s Product Management team to operate efficiently at scale, with the ultimate goal of building better products and improving the customer experience.
What will you do
- Facilitation & Collaboration
- Facilitate the planning and execution of product launches through cross-functional projects, following a standardized launch management approach.
- Foster collaboration across Product & Technology, Go-to-Market, and Customer Success teams throughout the launch management cycle, removing impediments and accelerating feedback loops.
- Identify and manage launch-related risks, issues, dependencies, and changes to plans.
- Support the rest of the Product Operations team with ongoing initiatives and projects.
- Ways of Working & Excellence
- Design, optimize, and drive adoption of launch management processes as part of Unit4’s end-to-end software delivery methodology, in collaboration with the broader Delivery Operations team.
- Drive launch management excellence through industry best practice, coaching launch project teams to secure successful process adoption and fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
- Insights
- Provide visibility into launch plans, schedules, and status, ensuring stakeholders have a single and consistent source of truth.
- Ensure launch feedback is gathered, outcomes measured, and effectiveness analyzed to enable continuous improvement.
Your profile
You are an experienced professional within Product, Go-to-Market, or Customer Success with a track record of bringing new products to market. You possess strong project management skills and a passion for cross-functional facilitation and continuous improvement. You enjoy building robust processes and facilitating their diligent operational execution. At your core, you are a servant leader, able to motivate and unite people across functions, locations, and cultures towards a common goal. You are an excellent communicator and an analytical problem solver, highly accountable, independent, and results-oriented.
Your qualifications
- 3-5 years of experience in a Product, Go-to-Market, or Customer Success function.
- A higher education degree, preferably in business or technology.
- Proven track record in project, program, or delivery management, preferably in the software industry.
- Experience in launching products to market, either as a contributor or facilitator, ideally in the software industry.
- Strong facilitation skills, with the ability to foster collaboration, drive progress through servant leadership, and enable improvement through coaching.
- Solid understanding of the end-to-end software delivery lifecycle and go-to-market strategies in a SaaS business.
- Experience with process design, implementation, and improvement.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English, with the ability to effectively engage with various stakeholder groups.
- A customer-first mentality, with a passion for ensuring exceptional product delivery.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and adapt to change.
