Job Description

To drive product strategy and market performance by leveraging data-driven insights, ensuring alignment with business objectives, and fostering cross-functional collaboration. The role will focus on delivering actionable recommendations to optimize product portfolios, forecast accuracy, and market share growth in the LATAM region. By translating complex market data into strategic insights, the Junior Product Manager will contribute to revenue growth, profitability, and competitive positioning while supporting the broader organizational goals of the company.

Key Job Responsabilities

  • Analyze Market Data: Develop comprehensive market reports for LATAM using third-party providers (GfK, NPD, Nielsen) and internal data to evaluate competitor line-ups by country, segment, price, channels, and retail performance.
  • Forecast Alignment: Ensure consistency between sell-in and sell-out forecasts with the LATAM business plan and market share objectives, proposing actionable recommendations to achieve targets.
  • Generate Insights: Create ad hoc reports to identify competitor rivalry (new players, products, technologies), channel trends (online/offline), consumer profiles, price positioning, and market forecast reviews.
  • Support Business Reviews: Assist headquarters and subsidiaries in preparing for quarterly business reviews, including organizing meetings, creating presentations, and tracking action items.
  • Facilitate Collaboration: Conduct periodic meetings with subsidiaries to assess market status, action plans, and interactions with internal departments (marketing, retail, online).
  • Product Category Management: Oversee a specific product category and serve as the focal point for subsidiaries, ensuring alignment with corporate strategies.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Engineering, Economics, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Experience in strategic planning, consulting, MI/BI (Market Intelligence/Business Intelligence), or business roles within the consumer electronics industry (e.g., monitors, note PCs, or related technology categories).
  • Advanced proficiency in English. Spanish will be considered a plus.
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and data management tools.
  • Experience with Power BI or other data analysis and interpretation tools.
  • Knowledge of line-up/portfolio management and P&L analysis.
  • Familiarity with market research methodologies and key performance indicators (KPIs).
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Business acumen with a focus on translating data into actionable insights.
  • Proficiency in English and Spanish.
  • Resilience and ability to perform under pressure.
  • Excellent communication and influencing skills.
  • Team-oriented mindset with a willingness to contribute beyond individual responsibilities.
