This position is responsible for prioritizing, creating, and completing non-stock and stock new item requests for the sales team and our customers. Works closely with various internal partners including Sales, PCM, Risk, Quality and Regulatory to ensure items are created promptly and accurately. Works closely with Supplier Partners to capture and ensure accuracy of all products and regulatory related information to ensure the company remains compliant. Ensures customer satisfaction by completing item set up within the required KPI’s. Maintains online databases with all product and supplier information for our corporate quality processes and auditing.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- 50% - New Item Creation
- Manages stock and non-stock item requests based on the request of customers and sales team.
- Coordinates with Supplier Partners, Inventory Management, Sales, and Product Category Management to confirm inventory levels on Sales Rep requests as needed.
- Works with supplier partners to obtain all item details and ensures all information is accurate including acquisition cost, item description, and value attainment for item creation/updates.
- Obtains all regulatory details needed for item creation through various methods such as contacting the supplier directly, researching FDA websites/databases, supplier websites, and performing google searches. Regulatory details include all FDA Medical Device, Pharmaceutical and OSHA related information such as SDS, shipping and storage requirements, National Drug Code’s, Global Trade Identification Numbers, and all other required regulatory details needed to complete item setup.
- Determines all appropriate internal product category coding, tax code, and shipping type for each item they create.
- Keys all information gathered into PIX system to initiate item and store all corresponding information in the PIX forms.
- 30% - Item Updates
- Assists internal teams to address questions regarding items recently created.
- 15% - Auditing
- Maintains online databases with all product and supplier information for our corporate quality processes and auditing.
- Assist internal regulatory team with monthly reporting.
- Participates in all internal and external ISO audits as needed.
- Ensures customer satisfaction by completing items set up with the required KPI’s.
- 5% - Performing other duties and special projects as required.

Travel typically less than 10%. Office environment. No special physical demands required.

The posted range for this position is $37,735 to $58,962 which is the expected starting base salary range for an employee who is new to the role to fully proficient in the role. Many factors go into determining employee pay within the posted range including prior experience, current skills, location/labor market, internal equity, etc.
