Client Account Manager, Portfolio Manager and Investment Specialist.
The Luxembourg Product Implementation team is the center of expertise and knowledge for the mutual funds business of JPMorgan Asset Management and its Luxembourg & Irish domiciled products (UCITS & AIFs). The team is responsible for the management and implementation of all fund-related initiatives (new products, new share classes, mergers, closures, etc) and the coordination and management of all affected parties located in Luxembourg and Dublin (ETFs). We focus our deliverables on activities performed by various service providers supporting our fund products: Transfer Agency, Fund Accounting & Administration, Depository, Audit, code providers, data vendors, etc. The team fits within the Management Company "Manco" framework and interacts with many stakeholders globally (investment managers, client facing teams, operations, control functions, legal & compliance). The team is made of experienced product & project managers.
Job Summary
As a Product Implementation Client Support Analyst for you will be responsible for all Life Cycle events related to UCITS SICAV JPMorgan Shareclasses, interacting with client services and multiple other stakeholders to complete the set-up (requires 100% accuracy) and launch the UCITS SICAV classes in the market for Clients to invest in.
Job Responsibilities
The primary responsibility will be the delivery of tasks in relation to:
- Share class set-up & launch, Share class Closure/De-activation
- Verify and input data onto internal central repository system called "Fund Data Portal" Example of assignment: Launch of a JPMorgan Asia Pacific Income Alpha HKD Hedged Share Class.
- Receive instruction to launch the Asia Pacific Income C dist HKD Hedged share class and make all required information available within a specified time frame i.e., 2 weeks.
- Review the business case and client eligibility, then create a "skeleton" share class in Fund Data Portal "FDP" system and reach out to external service providers to enrich the share class data with the critical information required for the launch. For instance, the Product Implementation Analyst interact with industry platforms such as Clearstream, the London Stock Exchange, WM Daten, etc to issue various identifiers such ISIN code, SEDOLs, etc. As the data points are being received, those will be input into FDP.
- Handle queries from the client facing teams. There are several types of share classes, and the set-up rules can be quite complex. For instance, certain share classes are simple to set-up, some are subject to various exceptions/ constraints. Time to market can be important for the client.
- Verify 100% data accuracy and completeness Once the full data set is available . Then The Product Implementation Analyst provides the sign-off, it will mean that the client will be able to invest in the share class.
Required qualifications, capabilities and skills
- 2+ years relevant experience and/or project management. Certifications (e.g., Chartered Accountant, CPA, CFA) is an advantage.
- Knowledge of the European collective investment schemes (UCITS), including ETFs and their associated end-to-end processes, will be distinctive advantage.
- Deep knowledge of Microsoft outlook & excel spreadsheets proficiency is a minimum.
