This role focuses on shaping product aligned solutions using strong investment management domain knowledge, ensuring client requirements are translated into practical, repeatable solutions that can be delivered smoothly by our teams. You’ll work closely with clients, product managers, and implementation specialists to design scalable solutions, support successful deployments, and ensure adoption of our products.
You will play a key role in ensuring our clients adopt and benefit from our investment management products. Support implementation teams by providing repeatable product solution patterns and guidance that support consistent implementation and adoption.
Gather requirements through workshops and stakeholder engagement, with a focus on investment operations, outcome requirements and day-to-day user workflows.
Act as a subject matter expert for implementation teams, guiding them through complex setups.
Engage with clients as a trusted advisor, providing training and helping them get the most out of our products.
Assist pre sales teams with feasibility insights and integration advice.
Key Relationships:
Implementation Team: Collaborating closely to ensure solutions are designed for seamless deployment and to provide support for complex escalations or troubleshooting needs.
Product Management: Aligning solution designs with product strategy, gathering insights on product roadmaps, and ensuring client needs are effectively represented in product planning.
Client Support Team: Acting as an escalation point for technical issues and providing expertise to help resolve complex client queries swiftly.
Commercial Teams: Supporting pre sales activities by advising on technical feasibility, customisation options, and integration requirements, which aids in setting client expectations.
Key Customers: Engaging with identified key clients to gather feedback, enhance advocacy, and serve as a trusted technical advisor, ensuring solutions meet their evolving needs.
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Investments, Economics, Information Systems, or a related field.
(Technical degrees are only suitable where accompanied by strong, demonstrable investment management domain experience.)5+ years of experience in solution design, systems implementation, or business/technical consulting within financial services .
Strong expertise in requirements gathering, solution mapping, and documentation skills.
Client facing experience, with the ability to lead workshops and training sessions.
Hands-on experience working with investment or asset management platforms, including portfolio structures, asset classes, and operational workflows.
This role is product-led and domain-focused. It does not involve software engineering, technical solution architecture ownership, infrastructure design, or hands-on systems development. Candidates seeking an engineering or architecture-focused role will not be a fit.
