What you will be doing
- Lead the development and execution of a comprehensive marketing program across positioning, demand generation, content marketing, customer marketing and field marketing to achieve strategic pipeline and brand awareness goals
- Define and oversee the creation of clear, compelling, and differentiated messaging that resonates with target audiences, emphasizing the product’s unique value in the AI and data transformation space.
- Elevate customers, employees, and executives with thought leadership content that differentiates Matillion’s AI product in the market and educate the market on the category disruption it will create
- Oversee and contribute to executive content development, including ghostwriting, to establish the voice and market positioning of the CEO, CPO, and CEO Own the sales enablement strategy, ensuring the sales team is equipped with the necessary tools, training, and content to sell the new solution, including pitch decks, demo scripts, case studies, and competitive intelligence to effectively engage and convert prospects..
- Partner strategically with wider Product Marketing, Demand gen, Field, and Corporate Marketing teams to ensure the AI product is fully integrated into broader marketing programs
- Establish close alignment with Product, Engineering, and Technical Success teams to align on product features, customer needs, and ongoing product improvements.
- Define key performance indicators, oversee reporting and leverage insights to continuously optimize product marketing efforts and contribute to overall business growth.
What we are looking for
- Extensive experience in product marketing, with a focus on AI, SaaS, or data-related products, including strategic leadership of cross-functional initiatives and accountability for outcomes. .
- Experience in growth marketing techniques and early-stage start-up marketing strategy and execution
- Proven experience in launching and growing disruptive products or services, ideally in the data or analytics space.
- Strong ability to think strategically and execute tactical plans to drive product adoption and revenue growth.
- Demonstrated experience leading cross-functional teams, including product, sales, engineering, and customer success, to achieve shared goals.
- Exceptional communication and storytelling skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders and present complex ideas with clarity.
- Comfortable with data and analytics to measure campaign success and adjust strategies accordingly.
- Experience in a fast-paced startup and scale-up environments - tolerance for a high degree of change
- Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Computer Science, or a related field
Preferred
- Experience working with AWS, Google, Microsoft, or Snowflake products and support teams
- Pragmatic Marketing certification is a plus
