About the roleDrive innovative product experiences with a strong focus on user-centric design.
Create intuitive, seamless interactions that enhance customer engagement with Dyson technology.
Support the physical product experience vision from NPI teams, collaborating across Singapore and Malaysia.
Adapt and evolve product visions through development, engaging senior stakeholders.
Communicate clearly with downstream engineering teams to support implementation and iteration.
Collaborate closely with downstream engineering teams to adapt, explore, and communicate product visions.
Background in HMI UX/UI, product design, industrial design, or mechatronics engineering (or equivalent, e.g. mechanical, electronics, or system engineering) with demonstrated interest or training in UX/UI or product design.
Demonstrated ability to manage in end-to-end product design processes, from ideation through to delivery.
Ability to rapidly prototype across hardware and software, using platforms like Arduino, Raspberry Pi, or similar.
Strong system-level thinking – able to understand and model product states, transitions, and user flows across hardware-software interactions.
Familiarity with design and prototyping tools such as Figma, Sketch, or equivalent, with willingness to grow visual and interaction design skills.
Curious, empathetic, and detail-oriented, with a proactive approach to exploring new technologies and addressing user needs.
Strong communicator across disciplines, skilled in storytelling, and adaptable in fast-paced, cross-functional environments.
Familiar with Agile tools, passionate about prototyping, knowledgeable in accessibility, and experienced in motion design for interactive interfaces.
