Position Summary

This position is responsible to assist PQC Part Lead for daily operations. Enforcing adherence to process to meet PQC mission of enhensing good process quality on the line as well as to meet PQC KPIs. The dueties of PQC Supervisor includes managing PQC associates for daily operations and KPI management for the department.

Role and Responsibilities

1. Oversee PQC daily operations as a Supervisor
2. Assist PQC Part Lead on supervising and implementing processes, standards to maintain consistent quality, and corrective actions
3. Allocate resources to ensure PQC missions and KPIs
4. Direct supervision of PQC associates: performance reviews, as well as daily operation related tasks, including timecard management, setting schedule, and etc.
5. Manage regular and irregular PQC related meetings with relative divisions/departments
6. Process CTQ verification and management, including update, modification, and etc. on GMES
7. Process audits : PL, ESD, Defect Data, Dummy test, Work Instruction and etc.
8. Build teamwork and synergy for great work place
9. People Management
-- Train, mentor, guide, and coach associates as needed.
-- Monitor time keeping and approve time cards, which includes monitoring and calculating Bereavement Leave, FMLA, Jury Duty, Military Leave, PTO, STD, Parental Leave, etc.
-- Manage individual employee performance by conducting performance evaluations and delivering performance improvement notifications.
10. All other duties as assigned

Skills and Qualifications

• Education:  High school diploma or GED plus 6 years of full time manufacturing / professional experience required; OR Associate Degree with a major in business or other related majors prefered.
• Experience:  3-5 years’ experience in a Supervisory Role and / or Leadership Role preferred.
• Knowledge:  Excelent computer and microsoft office skills, Data management & analysis skill, Experience with testing and measuring equipment (Caliper, micrometers, height gauge, tensile, and etc.)
• Skills:  Effective communication, measurements taken with micometer/calipers/gauges, problem solving.  Must be able to speak, read, and write English.  Ability to read and understand manufacturing instructions.
• Physical requirement:  The ability to stand up for 8 - 10 hours a day required.  All employees for all positions must be able to lift, carry, push, or pull up to 35 lbs.
