NPI/Product Engineer

Rapsodo is a global sports technology company with offices in Singapore, the United States, Türkiye, Japan, and Malaysia. We build data-driven, portable sports analytics products that help athletes understand and improve their performance.

We build tightly integrated systems across hardware, computer vision, physics-based modelling, and cloud software to capture and quantify motion that was previously impossible to measure outside the lab. The work is hands-on, multidisciplinary, and grounded in real physical outcomes — turning complex motion into precise, actionable insight at global scale.

We are seeking a Product Engineer to bridge product development and manufacturing, and driving new sports-technology products from conception through launch. You will serve as the primary interface across embedded, hardware, firmware, algorithms, software, suppliers, and factory operations - delivering products that are technically sound, manufacturable at scale, on budget, and on schedule.

• Partner with the Product Owner to shape product roadmaps and translate decisions into clear engineering and manufacturing deliverables.
• Communicate progress, risks, and key technical decisions to stakeholders across functions
• Work with Architecture and hardware teams to select components that meet manufacturability, cost, availability, and long-term supply requirements.
• Plan and build early prototypes, defining build schedules and determining quantities
• Embed with Operations and Manufacturing during late-stage development to prepare for production
• Establish production procedures and quality control measures with factory partners to ensure manufacturing readiness

• 3-5 years of engineering experience with exposure to the full product lifecycle, including participation in at least one hardware project from concept through launch
• Bachelors degree in Engineering or a related technical field
• Experience in factory environments and hands-on prototype builds
• Experience validating suppliers and sourcing components
• Strong aptitude for problem solving and ability to organize and prioritize work
• A resourceful, adaptable, and proactive team player
• Enjoys collaborating with global, cross-functional teams in a fast-paced, dynamic, multi-cultural environment
