Product Engineer
IAC Monterrey North Plant
Location: Monterrey, Nuevo León, Mexico
At IAC Monterrey North Plant, we are looking for a Product Engineer with experience in the automotive industry, responsible for providing end-to-end product follow-up, coordinating engineering changes, and serving as the link between the customer and the plant.
This position requires a professional with strong follow-up, organizational, and communication skills, capable of translating customer requirements into actionable plans with internal teams and ensuring proper implementation in terms of timing, cost, and quality.
Main Responsibilities- Manage and follow up on engineering changes.
- Coordinate the implementation of customer requirements with the internal areas involved.
- Provide technical and operational follow-up throughout the different stages of the product.
- Act as the direct link between the customer and the plant.
- Participate in follow-up meetings with cross-functional teams.
- Manage product technical information, BOMs, routings, and related documentation.
- Support cost analysis and cost estimations.
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering.
- Experience in a similar position within the automotive industry.
- Experience in automotive interiors.
- Experience with direct customer interaction.
- Advanced English is required.
- Experience with customers such as GM and/or Tesla is desirable.
- Knowledge of Core Tools: APQP, PPAP, FMEA, and Control Plan.
- Knowledge of engineering changes, BOM management, and routings.
- Experience with ERP systems is desirable.
- Experience with QAD, Prolink, and Teamcenter is preferred.
- Strong organizational and follow-up skills.
- Effective communication.
- Attention to detail.
- Sense of urgency.
- Ability to coordinate multiple activities and ensure timely follow-up.
Skills Required
