As a Design Engineer at Valmet, you are building strong relationships within the facility. You will be designing refiner segments and developing production processes. This position will interface with Sales and foundry personnel to develop cost effective products that meet customer’s performance needs.
Expectations
To excel in the role, you should have a solid understanding of the business environment. Bachelor’s or associate degree in engineering preferred. You balance a desire to support and work closely with customers along with your passion for development of cutting-edge products. You should be highly proficient with computers using NX, SolidWorks, Catia or AutoCAD. (CAD/CAM experience is a plus). You should also have a strong ability to do reverse engineering and translate final product design into in-process manufacturing drawings.
