Job Summary:
The Product Team is seeking a motivated Product Engineer to be a multi-disciplinary European technical resource. The Product Engineer will directly work for the Product Team interfacing with Sales and Customers on advanced AI driven robotic picking solutions for warehouses. This role will help manage a Show Room, Demo and Test site in Amsterdam and conduct pre-sales and post-sales customer site visits. Success in this role requires a passion to work across disciplines and to support internal and external customers.

Amsterdam (Haarlem), Netherlands.
Responsibilities:
- Lead European Demo and Test site for Robotic Picking
- Coordinate visits to BG Amsterdam
- Lead tours and in-depth product demonstrations
- Conduct customer site pre-sale visits
- Evaluate customer requirements vs technology
- Conduct customer tests at Amsterdam demo site under direction of Go To Market team
- Perform visits to existing and ramping Customer sites
- Analysis and expert investigations for onsite issues
- Interact with operating teams
- Complete data analysis to increase value at existing sites
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Physics, Math, Economics, a related field or strong computer science skills.
- Ability to present findings and build consensus.
- Presentation and public speaking
- 2+ years of experience with warehouse logistics, automation or industrial robotics.
- Experience working on teams bringing products to market or a start-up.
- Trouble shooting and root cause analysis
- Fluent Dutch and English
Preferred Qualifications:
- German, French language skills
- 5+ years work in the industrial product sector.
- Customer facing sales or sales support experience
- Expert knowledge of warehouse operations or industrial robotics.
- Practical experience in one or more of the following areas:
- Robotic manipulation
- Sortation and conveyor
- Vision systems and sensors
- Feasibility studies and proposals
- Entrepreneurial or early-stage company experience
- Data analysis using Python
- Working knowledge of ROS, Linux, Kubernetes
- Professional presentation and collateral creation
Other Requirements
- Ability to travel 30%+ within Europe, primarily Western Europe mostly day trips or single overnight
