Product Engineer II

JOB MISSION

Manage design, analyze requirements, and establish product specifications and characteristics.

MAIN FUNCTIONS

• Manage product design.

• Responsible for Product Specification.

• Relationship and negotiation with the Client (analysis of technical requirements, etc.).

• Support BorgWarner's production plants.

• Manage the Prototype Phase.

• Manage technical and economic studies.

• Project Risk Analysis.

• Evaluate the Specification Catalog.

• Control DVP&R and its alignment with the Project schedule.

• Support Application Engineering teams.

Additionally, the functions associated with the Quality and EHS system as outlined in annex DG.18.1.1.

REQUIRED TITLE AND EXPERIENCE

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, or a similar qualification.

• Minimum 3 years of experience in project management, testing, or application engineering positions.

• Internal management IT systems (MS Office, experience with MatLab and SAP is valued).

• Quality Tools: experience with APQP and FMEA is valued.

• Experience in life and fatigue calculations of materials is valued.

• Experience with mechatronic products is valued.

• Language: High level of English is essential, other languages are valued.
