Compensation Range: $74,000 - $92,300

Compensation may vary based on applicant's work experience, education level, skill set, and/or location.

The Product Engineer will support the hands-on testing of the Product Development team's (non-flight) activities, including electrical characterization, destructive physical analysis, and dynamic mechanical testing of lithium-ion cells. This includes:

  • Utilizing a top-level test plan and customer specifications, to generate and execute well-written test procedures (TVAC, vibration, electrical screening, etc.)
  • Producing and maintaining an organized database of cell- and battery-level life testing
  • Generating comprehensive reports that include all phases of cell qualification and acceptance testing
  • Interpreting cell-level test data
  • Leading non-conformance investigations, resolutions, and process improvements
  • Working with other project engineers and cross-functional teams as needed on customer-facing projects.
  • This position reports directly to the Principal Product Engineer.

  • A minimum of a Bachelor's Degree in a technical discipline such as engineering, math, or physics (Electrical,Aerospace, Mechanical or Power Engineering is preferred)
  • Above average Microsoft Word and Excel skills, Access and VBA Skills preferred
  • Excellent communication skills (verbal and written) and the ability to work within a close knit team to strictdeadlines
  • Experience with Python preferred
  • Space or Aerospace industry specific experience preferred
  • Knowledge of, or experience with lithium-ion batteries highly advantageous
  • Experience with SolidWorks preferred
  • Experience with electrical laboratory equipment strongly preferred
  • This is an excellent opportunity for an associate engineer with 0-2 years of experience to join a growinginternational space component supplier.
