About the role
As part of our team, you will play a crucial role in the development and support of our highly sought-after product, "S/4 HANA for Financial Products Subledger." This product is designed to assist our customers within the Financial Services industries in achieving compliance with accounting and reporting standards such as IFRS 9 and IFRS 17 and in steering their organizations financially. In this role, you will have a variety of responsibilities to ensure the overall quality and readiness of the product. Some of the key tasks and responsibilities include:
- Defining and performing integrated testing of relevant business scenarios end-to-end.
- Assisting the Product Owner in activities such as demos, documentation, training, and tutorials related to the business scenarios supported by our product.
- Conducting testing of new features in parallel with the development sprints to ensure their functionality and reliability.
- Developing and implementing automated tests for important business scenarios to streamline testing processes and improve efficiency.
- Supporting the team in analyzing and addressing customer tickets, providing timely and effective resolutions to any issues or concerns.
In summary, this role offers a unique opportunity to contribute to the success of our cutting-edge product and collaborate with a dynamic Scrum team. Your involvement will span various aspects of the product development lifecycle, ensuring its quality and meeting the needs of our customers.
You will have the flexibility to work from any of our offices in Germany, in Berlin, Munich, or Walldorf, or choose a home-office setup or a combination of the two based on your preferences.
To excel in this role, we are looking for someone who brings the following qualities and skills:
- An advanced academic degree in Finance, Computer Science, Natural Sciences, Business Informatics, or a related field.
- Excellent communication skills, enabling you to confidently express your ideas and collaborate seamlessly within a team environment. Your ability to drive collaboration will be essential for the success of our projects.
- A willingness to actively engage in agile/scrum development processes, embracing the iterative and collaborative nature of our work.
- A customer-first mindset and a strong sense of teamwork, recognizing the importance of understanding and addressing our clients' needs while fostering a positive and supportive team environment.
- Fluent proficiency in English. Additionally, German language skills are highly advantageous, as they would allow for better collaboration with local stakeholders.
- Beneficial: familiarity with software quality assurance methodologies, tools, and processes as well as understanding of business processes, particularly within the domain of financial accounting.
