Your Responsibilities
- As a product Engineer, you lead the definition of the productization strategy. Contribute to Time-To-Market, characterization plan, qualification plan, volume ramp-up plan and cost optimization
- In the definition phase of a new product, you will represent Product Engineering in a multidisciplinary cross functional team to develop the characterization, Validation and Industrialization strategy. You will specify the DfX (Design for Analysis, Yield, Manufacturability) requirements. You will act as liaison between different disciplines inside and outside the Product Line with Test Engineers, IC designers / IC architects, Quality Engineers, FA engineers, wafer fabs and Assembly centers. You will lead diamond teams to ensure validation compliance with DTS and Functional Requirement Specification (FRS).
- During the evaluation phase of the new silicon, you participate in the validation and characterization process. This includes the definition of reliability Hardware (including verification and validation), executing and reporting on ESD, Latch-Up, Absolute Maximum Rating and temperature characterization. You are responsible for the alignment and setting of datasheet limits, test limits to ensure operational performance in production with sufficient margin to maintain high quality and yield.
- After Tape-out you will manage the ticket-process to make sure that they are followed up and root-caused and as input to a continuous improvement learning cycle.
- Besides of project execution, you will initiate and lead teams to improve the quality & output efficiency.
- Cooperate in multidisciplinary teams (like test engineering, design, quality, product marketing, assembly, manufacturing, diffusion, customer complaint handling, failure analysis, etc.)
- Transfer of ownership before R-gate to satellite industrialization teams in production sites and support them to meet Entitlement targets on test cost and yield.
