Founded in 2018 in Dublin, Tines is a smart, secure workflow platform designed to automate any manual task, regardless of complexity. By automating workflows, Tines empowers frontline teams to reduce monotonous, manual work and free up valuable time and resources.
Tines is an integrator across your entire stack - if it offers an API, Tines connects with it. Having firmly established Tines as the de-facto automation platform for cybersecurity teams, we’re expanding horizontally to IT, Product, Engineering, and Infrastructure teams. Tines was built for everyone, delivering transformative and innovative enterprise software to industry leaders like Canva, Intercom, Databricks, Mars and Reddit.
We’re excited about what we’re doing and what’s to come, and we’re looking for others who can lead by our values of Simplicity, Speed, and Soundness. Because Tines is about delivering exceptional customer experiences, while creating a company culture that nurtures individual curiosity, growth, and integrity.
Reporting to the Director of Product Engagement, you will work in our broader 50+ person product, design, and engineering team. We avoid harsh boundaries in our collective work to build a successful product that our customers love to use. But generally speaking, product engagement is responsible for driving usage of Tines. We combine data, ideas, and experimentation to deploy a range of tactics to drive that usage. We believe that product content is a fundamental part of the product user experience. By proactively providing educational content inside and outside the product, we create meaningful touchpoints that deepen user understanding and interaction with Tines.
This is a remote or semi-remote position, with the employee required to be located in Ireland. (You will have access to our Dublin city centre office).
About you:
- You're an excellent communicator, writing clearly and concisely with deep empathy for the customer’s experience and a strong attention to detail. We care deeply about this one.
- Tines is a technical product, so you are naturally a technical product person. You’ll develop an intimate knowledge of how Tines works.
- You have a hacker’s mindset. You’re resourceful, curious when out of your comfort zone, and can move at speed in the direction of “done”.
- You have 3-5 years experience working in a software company working in product, marketing, support, or growth teams.
- You have created best-practice product content before (product screencasts/videos, articles, product docs, webinars, in-app messages) and you have examples you are proud of to show us.
- You could be described as a “content generalist” - comfortable with creative writing, simplifying complex or abstract concepts, and producing technical documentation.
- You are highly proactive, taking initiative and getting things done with minimal supervision.
- You are comfortable deriving insight, forming opinions, and making decisions based on product analytics.
Bonus skills and attributes:
- Your visual design skills shine through in the presentations, videos, and screencasts you create.
- You’ve delivered webinars or in-person training.
- You have worked in a product engagement (or similar) team before.
- You have experience with marketing email or messaging campaigns.
What you’ll do in this role:
- Develop an in-depth understanding of Tines functionality so that you can efficiently produce product screencasts, deliver live content, write articles, and orchestrate messaging campaigns (in-app and email), all aimed at driving usage that leads to conversion, activation, renewal, and expansion.
- Understand Tines users and their needs, pain-points and opportunities.
- Understand the Tines business, the market we operate in, and our GTM strategies.
- You’ll collaborate with other custodians of the Tines UX to help create holistic, multi-touch customer experiences for things like product launches, onboarding and expansion.
- You’ll use Tines a lot. We “eat our own dogfood”, and we run the team (and, really, all of the company) on Tines. Your constant use of the product will be a major source of inspiration for the work you do.
- The roadmap for this role is largely unwritten. The success of your projects will inform what we work on next.
At Tines, we’re all about trying new things and taking the leap. If you’re second-guessing your application, we hope you’ll trust your gut and take the leap too! Applying for a new job isn’t always easy, especially if you’re thinking of a career pivot – but we’re big believers in learning and growth here at Tines, so you’ve nothing to worry about. A variety of experience, perspectives, and voices makes us the company we are. We’d love to hear from you.
