The Product Enablement Manager role sits within the global Product Enablement team in the Digital Business Unit of Iron Mountain.
Iron Mountain is seeking a Product Enablement Manager to provide global support to our Commercial teams as we continue to roll out new, innovative solutions, as well as enhance our existing digital offerings in each region. Product Enablement plays a crucial role in ensuring successful go-to-market product launches by equipping global Sales, Pre-Sales, and Professional Services teams with the product knowledge needed to confidently and accurately work with our customers to support their transformation from physical to digital and beyond.
Responsibilities
You will work closely with the Director of Product Enablement, other Product Enablement managers, as well as subject matter experts, product marketing, and product managers to develop and design training and other content in a manner that coincides with appropriate training techniques and pedagogy. You will develop and deliver projects consisting of but not limited to eLearnings, sales plays, battlecards, product demos, and curriculum that ensure consistency of understanding of our products’ value, functionality, and differentiators. You will also work closely with the Sales Enablement team to: ensure new learning courses are tracked and completed to meet expected sales and revenue targets in support of the organizational strategy and goals, as well as support workshops and other enablement activities to deliver supplementary sessions. Gathering feedback and incorporating this into future enablement activities is a key aspect to ensure learning is effective and well consumed.
The Responsibilities
- Create and continuously deliver assets such as training videos, e-learning paths and courses, talk track guides, podcasts, job aids, and product demos
- Conduct and/or facilitate live training sessions with Sales, Pre-Sales and Professional Services teams
- Continuously maintain training materials across required repositories to ensure they remain up to date and accurate
- Analyze usage data to determine the success of content and trainings and adjust accordingly
- Influence stakeholders and proposed training delivery timelines
- Partner with other functions who need to utilize the content as part of their programs
- Partner closely with the Product Management and Marketing teams to gain the knowledge and information required to develop the content and maintain its accuracy
Qualification
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a technical field (or equivalent relevant experience)
- Master's Degree Preferred
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changes in business requirements
- Proficiency in: Microsoft Office, Google Slides, Docs, Sheets with the ability to learn course design software and tools
- Knowledge and a working experience of Articulate 360, Adobe Premiere Pro, or Camtasia is desired
- Exposure to Adult Learning Theory: understanding how adults learn and best retain information is desired
- Ability to analyze feedback and data to determine the success of a training program
- Ability to internalize and aggregate the knowledge given by subject matter experts and present the information in a simplistic manner
- Ability to connect product’s features and function capability to customer conversations and differentiating from our competitors
- Very strong customer service, interpersonal and communications skills (oral and written)
