Working as part of a cross functional team, you deliver the RDQ activities required to complete new product development, portfolio maintenance and/or productivity projects with an emphasis on meeting the desired consumer experience.
How you will contribute
With the support and guidance of a manager, you will organize and execute projects in line with RDQ, marketing and manufacturing requirements, effectively communicating status and risks. You will plan and conduct pilot plant and factory trials in accordance with good manufacturing practice and HACCP requirements and development activities (e.g. product shelf-life testing, designing for quality, consumer test preparation etc.). You will also write technical reports that will require the analysis and interpretation of results and that lead to conclusions and recommendations and create and maintain accurate consumer-led specifications.
On this role you will:

• Work on proof-of-principle / Feasibility assessment in MEU to quickly turn ideas into projects by leveraging project scoping and feasibility assessment skills.
• Lead pilot plant trials.
• Align the category teams for projects execution handover and priorities setting.
• Identify routes to generate ideas from practical insights and knowledge supporting all Spend Areas .
• Stakeholder management as RDQ category , procurement , consumer science and manufacturing teams.
• Identify opportunities for Modelling and simulation solutions.

Requirements:

• Minimum 3 years of experience in RDQI function, focused on product development, interfacing cross-functionally with proven track record of successful implementation of major products/processes
• Good understanding of ingredients / product technical fundamentals and their applications in confectionery products.
• Project management skills and good understanding of the I2M process in addition to the RDQ systems such as ION .
• Ability to manage multiple & diverse stakeholders in the organization.
• Fluent in English.
