The RoleWe're looking for a Product Development Specialist to own our Accessories category, from the first collection idea all the way to launch. You'll think in collections, not single products. - Make sure every idea fits what Kitsch stands for, so it's ready for review the first time
- Research factory options before development starts: existing styles, new finishes, swatch cards, and early costing
- Negotiate costs with factories using options like higher MOQs, multiple POs, or different materials
- Keep every project on schedule and flag risks early
- Review top sellers regularly and turn what you learn into ideas for what's next
- Product development experience, ideally a couple of years (accessories is a plus, but other categories are welcome)
- Experience working with factories and suppliers on finishes, swatches, and costing
- A commercial mindset: you think about cost, MOQ, and margin
- A strong eye for trends and for what fits a brand
- Great attention to detail and high quality standards
- You're organized, proactive, and independent, with a solution-first attitude
- You learn fast, stay positive, and love working as part of a team
