We're looking for a Product Development Operations Coordinator who shares our commitment to excellence and is ready to join our collaborative environment.

As a Product Development Operations Coordinator, you will play a vital role in supporting our Product Development team. Your primary focus will be on data management, coordinating with vendors, reviewing and managing samples, and ensuring our product development timelines are met. You will maintain essential department tools and reports, working closely with cross-functional teams to achieve our business objectives efficiently and effectively.

  • Shelton, CT
  • Full Time, In-Office 5 Days Per Week
  • Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM

  • Request and manage information from both foreign and domestic vendors to support product development.
  • Create, manipulate, and maintain spreadsheets and documents using MS Excel and Word. Keep track of emails and communications through Outlook.
  • Maintain accurate product development and sourcing data and reports, ensuring all paperwork is up-to-date throughout the product lifecycle.
  • Review, manage, and ensure the accuracy and quality of product samples. Coordinate shipping to the photography team and track shipping expenses.
  • Confirm and review system data related to product approvals, purchase orders, shipping, and warehouse receiving.
  • Maintain an archive of proprietary items, ensuring the quality and accuracy of final samples. Collaborate with the Quality Assurance department for archiving and vendor returns.
  • Attend and contribute to cross-functional and milestone meetings, assisting the Product Development and Sourcing Department with various projects to support overall business goals.

  • Strong skills in Excel are a must, along with proficiency in Word and Outlook.
  • High attention to detail and accuracy in reporting and data management.
  • Excellent negotiation and communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Strong analytical abilities, time management, problem-solving skills, and organizational prowess.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
  • Good judgment and decision-making capabilities.
  • Previous experience in operations and vendor relationship management is highly desirable.
