Job Responsibilities
Lead a cross‑disciplinary Agile development team of up to eight people, including React and Python Developers, Automation Engineers, and Product Owners
Participate in architecture and design sessions to support the development of new platform features
Guide the personal and professional development of all team members across all specialisms
Collaborate with business stakeholders and the Product Management team to define and refine the long‑term platform roadmap
Hire, mentor, and retain talented software professionals across multiple functional areas
Work closely with other technical stakeholders to ensure CI/CD workflows operate efficiently and effectively
Establish, track, and maintain application performance objectives, including monitoring and optimisation activities
Qualifications and Skills
A minimum of 5 years’ experience in a software leadership role (required for Manager‑level positions)
High‑energy, proactive, and approachable personality with a passion for solving a diverse range of challenges
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Solid understanding of Scrum, architectural concepts, and associated terminology
Hands‑on experience with JavaScript/TypeScript, preferably React
Knowledge of Python and frameworks such as Django or FastAPI is a plus
