We’re looking for a driven and detail-oriented Product Development Associate to play a key role in supporting the product lifecycle, ensuring every product is on track, on trend, and ready for success.

WHAT YOU’LL DO
As a Product Development Associate, you’ll support the end-to-end product creation process, ensuring accuracy, organization, and timely execution:
- Support Product Development: Assist in managing the product development timeline from concept through production handoff.
- Maintain PLM Accuracy: Input and update all product details, including tech packs, style numbers, and material specifications, into Centric PLM.
- Partner with Teams: Work closely with design, production, and merchandising teams to ensure product details and deadlines are aligned.
- Vendor Communication: Support communication with vendors regarding sample requests, approvals, and updates on timelines.
- Track Samples & Approvals: Coordinate the flow of prototypes and samples, tracking approvals and ensuring timelines are met.
- Prepare Product Documents: Assist in creating and maintaining tech packs, including BOMs, construction details, and colorways.
- Support Fit and Development Meetings: Participate in fit sessions and development meetings, taking notes and ensuring follow-ups are executed.
- Assist with Trend & Material Research: Help gather insights on fabric, trims, and trends to support new product development.
- Organize Product Data: Ensure accurate product information, updates, and approvals are maintained for internal tracking and vendor communications.
WHAT YOU’LL BRING TO THE TEAM
We’re looking for a motivated team player with an eye for detail, strong organizational skills, and a passion for the product development process:
- Bachelor’s degree in fashion, textiles, product development, or a related field.
- 1-3 years of experience in product development, production, or a similar role (apparel industry experience preferred).
- Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop to assist with tech packs and product details.
- Experience with PLM systems (Centric PLM experience is a plus).
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
- A collaborative mindset with excellent communication skills to work effectively across teams and vendors.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel for tracking timelines, samples, and costs.
- A passion for apparel and a desire to grow your career in product development.

COMPENSATION
At FAM Brands, we are committed to fair and transparent compensation. Salary ranges for positions are based on job level, location, and market data. We offer competitive benefits and are dedicated to equal pay for equal work. Specific salary offers depend on each candidate’s qualifications and experience. FAM Brands also offers all employees participation in our annual bonus program (Non-Sales) or commission program (Sales).
