This position will focus on innovation, renovation, productivity and quality improvement relevant projects linked to the ANZ chocolate business. Working to deliver technical solutions to support business projects across production at ANZ Facility (Ringwood), External Manufacturers, International Internal Manufacturers, and potential greenfield sites.
We have a pre identified candidate for this role however, open to further applications.
The successful candidate will enjoy working collaboratively with cross-functional teams, applying technical expertise to solve complex problems, and deliver the product launch to market compliance with MDLZ quality and local country regulation requirement.

How you will contribute
  • Supporting on delivering multiple projects objectives
  • Reviewing and delivering to project objective, scope, timeline, allocated resource and budget, and reviewing risk assessments/contingency plans
  • Analyses results of experiments and translates them into actionable recommendations
  • Supporting work plans, building upon the work request to deliver a robust approach, collaboration with multiple partners (third party EM, third party suppliers, MDLZ internal teams
  • Ensure compliance of technical programs and procedures with government regulations and corporate standards for product
  • Support in the review and validation and revise, as necessary, technical specifications to maintain accuracy of recommendations

What you will bring
A desire to drive your future and accelerate your career and the following experience and knowledge:
  • BA in Food Science, Biology, or Chemical Engineering required
  • 2+ years of work experience in food industry required with track record of successful developments; experience with bakery products is preferred
  • Prioritising and managing activities
  • Identifying problems proactively and creating and implementing solutions independently
  • Communicating effectively verbally and in writing, including technical writing
  • Putting the consumer at the heart of development activities
  • Must have technical curiosity and an eye for detail

There is significant investment in innovation with our local manufacturing sites. The ability to be creative, and work on end-to-end NPD projects is an attractive part of our R&D roles.
