Princess Polly is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Product Developer with a specialisation in procurement to join our team. Reporting into the Procurement Manager, you will be responsible for resourcing styles as required, ensuring they meet our quality standards, and maintaining efficient procurement processes.

Responsibilities:

• High volume resourcing of apparel and accessories styles
• Established Product development and garment construction knowledge across a variety of apparel and accessories categories
• Adherence to required lead times and critical path
• Maintain fit, quality and design of all resourced styles
• A keen understanding of supplier strengths, specialities and capabilities
• Strong negotiation skills
• Building positive Supplier relationships, working toward win-win outcomes
• Management of production tracker, ensuring 14 - 28 day resolution
• Support our sustainability program by increasing the number of styles made from Lower Impact (LI) Materials
• Manage priority resourcing assignments
• Adhere to supply chain directives and sourcing strategies

Skills/Experience:

• 2 + years' relevant experience working in product development
• Strong relationships with factories and supply base
• Basic procurement principles and processes, supplier selection, and negotiation
• You will be able to think on your feet, be creative, and not be afraid to change the plan of attack 
• Strong verbal and written communication, clear customer focus, with the ability to maintain existing supplier relationships 
• Be ethically minded.
