Our client is a leading garment corporation, who is looking for a qualified candidate to join their firm.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the end-to-end development process for assigned footwear programs, from receipt of design briefs and technical packages through technical review milestones and final readiness for commercialization.

  • Drive progress against critical development timelines, ensuring all sample stages and approval gates are completed on schedule.

  • Coordinate closely with cross-functional teams, including engineering, materials, costing, and manufacturing partners, to support product execution.

  • Ensure products are developed in line with required standards for quality, delivery timelines, and target cost expectations.

  • Identify development risks, technical challenges, and timeline issues early, and communicate updates clearly to relevant stakeholders across regional and international teams.

  • Provide technical product knowledge and development recommendations to support decision-making throughout the product creation process.

  • Partner with vendors and factories to resolve development issues, improve execution quality, and maintain alignment with product requirements.

  • Support continuous improvement in development processes, communication flow, and cross-functional collaboration.



Requirements

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent relevant experience in product development, engineering, materials, manufacturing, or a related field.

Experience

  • Proven experience in footwear product development or a similar role within the footwear industry.

  • Practical exposure to managing development timelines, sample reviews, and product approval stages.

  • Experience working with vendors, factories, and cross-functional product creation teams.

Technical Knowledge

  • Strong technical understanding of footwear construction, development processes, and material applications.

  • Good knowledge of product engineering considerations, costing factors, and manufacturing feasibility.

  • Ability to evaluate product issues and recommend practical development solutions.

Core Competencies

  • Strong project management skills with the ability to coordinate multiple stakeholders and priorities simultaneously.

  • Effective cross-functional collaboration and stakeholder management capability.

  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to provide clear updates, escalate risks, and align teams across regions.

  • Professional working proficiency in English, both written and verbal.

  • Ability to build effective working relationships with factory and vendor partners.

  • Detail-oriented, proactive, and capable of working in a fast-paced product development environment.
