About Eon
Eon is a tech startup building the world's first "virtual fleet." Our connected-first platform automates every step of renting a car, turning any vehicle (commercial or personal) into passive income for owners, and giving renters a frictionless experience.
The role
You'll design across our customer, owner, and internal products, plus our websites. The work spans UX, UI, prototyping, and our design system. You'll run tests on what you ship and iterate based on the results. Over time, you'll take ownership of specific areas of the product.
This role is in-person at our NYC Tribeca office. Perks include healthcare reimbursement plan, unlimited free usage of the rental platform for renting cars and periodic team sauna and karaoke sessions
What you'll work on
- Designing screens across our customer, owner, and internal products
- Maintaining and extending our design system in Figma
- Running user tests and iterating on the results
- Supporting marketing on upcoming projects
- Prototyping new features
What we're looking for
- 2 to 5 years in product design
- A portfolio with strong visual work and clear reasoning
- Comfortable designing and shipping for the web, iOS, and Android,
- Familiar with design systems, tokens, and variables
- Familiar with Webflow or similar website tools
- Understands HTML, CSS, and React Native well enough to ship working interfaces with AI tools (you don't need to write code yourself)
Nice to have
- Early-stage startup experience
- EV, mobility, or transportation background
- Hands-on with AI design and dev tools (v0, Cursor, Claude, Stitch, etc.)
- Experience with analytics tools like Mixpanel

- Technical interview with our Lead Designer (portfolio deep-dive, live Figma exercise)
