Platzi is looking for a Product Designer to craft immersive and impactful experiences that transition learners from passive to active online learning. We need a designer who thrives in the intersection of user needs and business impact—someone who understands that a great interface is not just beautiful, but effective.

You’ll also collaborate with Managers, Engineers, Marketers, and Content Strategists to define product strategy and execution. This is an opportunity to have a significant impact on Platzi’s product experience and help shape the future of online learning.

• End-to-End Design: Lead the complete design cycle, from discovery and problem definition to high-fidelity delivery and post-launch follow-up.
• Iterative Mindset: Design, test, and refine solutions based on evidence (quantitative and qualitative), understanding that the first design is only the starting point.
• Strategic Collaboration: Work closely with Managers, Engineers, and Stakeholders to align the user's vision with business objectives.
• System Thinking: Contribute to and scale our design system, ensuring coherence and efficiency across all platforms (Web, iOS, Android).
• Communication: Clearly articulate design decisions, using data and UX principles to support your proposals to multidisciplinary teams.

• 4+ years of experience in Product Design, with a demonstrated ability to create user-centered design solutions.  Experience in mass consumption digital products (B2C) or SaaS is a nice to have. Experience working in startup environments is highly preferred.
• Mastery of Figma and FigJam to create interactive prototypes and detailed design assets.
• A portfolio that demonstrates not just UI, but the 'why' behind decisions and the results achieved.
• Proficiency in design systems development and implementation, ensuring consistency across experiences.
• Strong collaboration skills to work effectively with managers, engineers, and stakeholders.
• User Research & Data: Experience using analytics and user feedback tools to inform and validate design decisions.
• Experience working with cross-platform design for desktop, web, and mobile products.
• Ability to lead design sprints and apply design thinking methodologies to solve problems and drive innovation.
• Fluent in English and Spanish
