Product Designer

As a Product Designer in our Client Experience team, you will help shape the tools used by end clients and financial institutions around the world - from investors and traders to asset managers, hedge funds, introducing brokers and white-label partners.
In your day-to-day, you’ll collaborate closely with another Product Designer focused on our B2B platforms, which enable our institutional partners to manage portfolios, serve their clients, and operate efficiently at scale. This includes designing multi-tenant environments, data-rich dashboards, portfolio management tools, and partner servicing workflows that support a wide range of institutional use cases. While you’ll focus on institutional platforms, you’ll also be part of a larger, cross-functional Client Experience design team at Saxo - working alongside designers from other product areas who regularly share feedback, ideas, and support.
This role is ideal for someone who thrives in complexity, enjoys collaborating with stakeholders, and can translate technical and business requirements into intuitive, scalable experiences for professional users.
 


Key responsibilities 

• Design & Prototyping: Create user-centric designs, wireframes, and high-fidelity prototypes in Figma for institutional-facing platforms.
• Workflow Design: Map and optimize complex partner journeys, including portfolio management, client servicing, and operational tools.
• Stakeholder Management: Collaborate with internal stakeholders across product, compliance, legal, and relationship management to align design with business goals.
• Facilitation: Lead and participate in workshops, design sprints, and co-creation sessions with internal teams and external partners.
• Design Systems: Apply and contribute to Saxo’s design system, ensuring consistency and scalability across platforms.
• Documentation & Handoff: Clearly document flows, states, and interactions to support smooth implementation by developers.
• Navigating Complexity: Operate effectively in a fast-paced, regulated environment with multiple dependencies and evolving priorities.

What we are looking for

• Proven experience as a Product Designer or in a similar role, with a strong portfolio showcasing your work.
• 3+ years of experience in product or UX/UI design, ideally with exposure to enterprise dashboards or B2B platforms.
• Strong proficiency in Figma and experience working with design systems and components.
• A system-thinking mindset with the ability to scale patterns across products.
• Experience designing for complex, data-rich environments.
• Strong stakeholder management and facilitation skills.
• Structured and detail-oriented, especially in documenting and specifying designs.
• Familiarity with financial services, trading platforms, or fintech is a strong plus.
